AI automation saves time and simplifies financial processes
The data entry process is very time-consuming. Without using options like ODA, manually entering data in the GLS screen or Oracle invoices is a time-consuming job. The screens could be improved, as a lot of mouse clicks are required, and multiple fields need to be entered. Although it has a workaround with spreadsheets, the screen interface could be better.

Integrated finance and HR have supported growth while support and on-premise limits need work
Unit4 ERP7 will not be improved as it is no longer supported by Unit4. The cloud ERP CR and ERP X do have clear roadmaps available to customers. Many of the gaps have been filled by the ERP suite of products. New improvements will include AI agents to automate finance and HR processes.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I really like the cloud feature; you can save lots of costs in comparison with an in-house solution, the solution is scalable and very stable, and you don't need to worry about the underpinning infrastructure or the system backup."
"The main component is Oracle Financial. It is one of the most comprehensive financial solutions available on the market."
"It provides our management a real-time view of operations."
"What's most valuable in Oracle ERP Cloud is that it's one of the largest ERPs available in the market and it has a lot of customization features."
"Unlike traditional ERPs, where adding a column is customization, personalization is in the tool. OTBI is built-in, providing many pre-delivered reports and dashboards. It's cloud-based, so it's OpEx instead of CapEx. Oracle Integration Cloud Services offers pre-delivered APIs for easy integration with systems like payroll and Salesforce."
"The technical support services are good and can resolve most of our issues."
"It fosters adoption of a shared services center model."
"Oracle ERP Cloud is a well-established and well-known product that is cost-effective for the customer."
"The Unit4 ERP product is very flexible and can be configured to fit most business processes."
"The product's self-service capabilities have benefited our organization."
"We try not to do customization, but we do configuration, and the configuration is extremely flexible with many options for integrations as well."
"Unit4 Business World is a reliable product."
"Unit4 Business World is a reliable product."
"Agresso includes a set of reporting and analytic tools that can be used to create a variety of reports unlike traditional ERP."
"Unit4 Business World's most valuable feature is flexibility. Its dashboards are easy."
"The financial features are the most valuable because we did not have good financial software and our organization had been growing."

Cons

"The database is outdated and quite rigid."
"I have noticed over the last 10 years Oracle's quality of technical support has decreased."
"In my case, I'm based out of Argentina, so for example, it's very difficult to use, because Oracle Cloud ERP does not meet the global standards, the legal requirements in Argentina and some other countries."
"The main thing Cloud ERP could improve is usability. However, it's not just an issue with Oracle. Most ERP solutions are not very user-friendly, so I think that could be the key improvement."
"Localization of functionality for Europe and Latin American countries legal and fiscal requirements, reporting, and integration with tax authorities."
"If you go for the real-time process, the patch of work and the time to update the product will be too much."
"Technical support is good, however, sometimes we do need to wait for an answer."
"Oracle support for this application is not up to the standard."
"For people on-premise, customer service is not great. During these 12 years, the quality of support has been a significant issue."

"I would like to see more flexibility in the customization for us to be able to customize it based on the client's requirements."
"I would like to see direct communication support to engage with clients. The parent company should have a direct relationship with clients. Also, the tool's licensing, upgrade, and maintenance costs should be reduced."
"Reporting and analytics features must be improved."
"Limited industries covered - Agresso lacks some key modules"
"Well, the commercial section is the worst in this company (0/10), al menos in our case."

"For an ERP Cloud, the pricing is relatively high."
"I rate the solution's pricing a five out of ten."
