Customer Service

SnapLogic's support is praised for effectiveness but needs improvement in response times and technical expertise for urgent issues.
Sentiment score
6.1
Customer service is efficient, but technical support experiences vary by region and complexity, sometimes requiring escalation for resolution.
The technical support from SnapLogic is excellent, and I would give it a complete ten.
Customer service is very helpful.

Sentiment score
7.3
SnapLogic is scalable and flexible for cloud environments, though some users note a learning curve and configuration challenges.
Sentiment score
6.9
TIBCO BusinessWorks is scalable for enterprise operations, though licensing issues and on-premise constraints can affect its scalability.
I rate the scalability of SnapLogic as eight out of ten.
It is not like AWS where I can add memory or more servers.

Stability Issues

Sentiment score
7.4
SnapLogic offers reliable performance and minimal downtime, but may struggle with large datasets despite ease of use.
Sentiment score
7.6
TIBCO BusinessWorks is stable and reliable, despite occasional adapter issues in newer versions, with ratings often between 8-10.
I would rate the stability of SnapLogic as nearly ten out of ten.
It is stable, however, every now and then, it just ends.

Room For Improvement

SnapLogic users seek more features, better support, user-friendly interfaces, enhanced capabilities, and improved stability and customization options.
TIBCO BusinessWorks requires interface improvements, better stability, enhanced cloud capabilities, and more affordable pricing to address performance and support issues.
If the AI capabilities and integrations were more intuitive and easy to learn for new users, it would be greatly beneficial.
I tend to frequently communicate with SnapLogic to ask for additional features, and they have been responsive.
They should ensure that what was working in the previous version must also work in the new version of BW six.
The learning curve takes time compared to webMethods.

Setup Cost

SnapLogic offers competitive, flexible pricing based on node costs and data volume, appealing for complex integrations without coding.
TIBCO BusinessWorks is costly, favored by large enterprises, but remains a pricing concern for medium-sized companies and startups.
There would be only one point of improvement if the price could be lower.
SnapLogic is positioned at around seven or eight out of ten in terms of pricing.
Pricing is for an enterprise application, so the company pays for it with a company license.

Valuable Features

SnapLogic offers an intuitive interface with diverse connectors and efficient data management, praised for customization and high-volume handling.
TIBCO BusinessWorks provides a user-friendly, scalable platform for seamless web service integration with robust performance and extensive features.
I also like the whole child-parent pipeline feature; it allows me to break up a process into smaller pieces and then have one big pipeline that controls these smaller pipelines.
I find SnapLogic to be user-friendly, especially for beginners with limited experience in data engineering or ETL.
It's a great software application for the middleware use cases to connect the front channels to the back ends in a secure and safer way.
When I have an architecture designed to plug in the service itself with BW, it makes things much easier.

Achieves rapid results in data migration and has an intuitive user interface
I find SnapLogic to be user-friendly, especially for beginners with limited experience in data engineering or ETL. The interface is interactive, allowing me to quickly learn how to run pipelines and achieve production-ready results swiftly. This agility translates to cost savings, especially for smaller projects and proofs of concept, as less time and effort are needed to deliver results.

Connects systems securely, simplifies data communication, and benefits from AI integration potential
I would like to see an AI project with BusinessWorks. I haven't worked with cloud architecture using BusinessWorks, so I would like to work with it as a cloud architect. I am still learning the documentation, so I don't have a complete experience with TIBCO. The learning curve takes time compared to webMethods.
