Marketo has some very good inbuilt features and processes that are flexible compared to other tools. However, they can improve by integrating AI and other advancements to enhance the system. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten.
I recommend Marketo, and my advice for others looking to use it is to hire a consultant immediately. It handles minute details, allowing our clients to focus on messaging and strategy. Overall, I'd rate Marketo an eight out of ten.

You need to outline your basic requirements first. We use Marketo because it can be more cost-effective than other tools. However, compared to SFMC (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), it's still more expensive. Assess your market, your business type, and your budget. If you're an enterprise-level company, Marketo makes sense. Otherwise, tools like HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Act-On could be good options. It is easy for a beginner to learn to use Marketo for the first time. There's a lot of documentation and pre-made setup programs on Marketo Nation that guide you through using it. Watch those videos first, and it'll be easier to understand. Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten. It's good for many things: generating leads and managing multiple business units. But, the main downside is that the reporting and dashboards aren't great. If a client wants to see campaign performance, we have to export the data to another tool.
As a cloud-based solution, we are always on the latest version of the product. I'd recommend the solution to others. I would rate the solution nine out of ten.

One of the issues we had was that we were initially brought on a system, we didn't have much work on how to look at scalability and how much it would cost to scale. If it would be less expensive to charge per contact, as Marketo does. We could have doubled or tripled our contacts with the initial purchase rather than having to add contacts as our business grew. People should consider the cost of scaling and whether it should be factored into the initial contract or added later. I would rate Marketo a six out of ten.

When it comes to sales I think this solution is more suitable but if you want a solution for marketing I believe Salesforce is better. Look at your companies culture, and into the teams to see which one has more influence, the sales, or the marketing team, then decide from there. I rate Marketo an eight out of ten.
I would definitely recommend this solution. The confidence that I got from working on Marketo is tremendous. Many people do not get the opportunity to work on it. It is a very important solution for any developer where your competition is less, and you learn new things. You will not be able to get out without purchasing the software. We plan to increase its usage. It is the most used automation software in global MNCs. The cost could be the only issue why some small companies move away to some other software, but considering the features it offers, it provides value for money. I would rate Marketo a ten out of ten.
