SAP Cloud Platform is a stable and good platform with well-proven software capabilities in the market. However, it is critical to conduct a thorough ROI analysis to ensure it meets the enterprise needs effectively before implementation. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten.

My company has not used the tool's machine learning capabilities, and most of the clients I am working with do not have a practical use case for them. The tool's use is mostly based on project needs. Even when integrations are booming, they may become a new way of designing architecture. Solace is one of the products that we are using right now. I just moved to Solace as it meets my needs with its advantageous features for the business. Solace is not a competitor of SAP Cloud Platform. Solace is just another tool to handle event-based integrations. Solace and SAP are working together to build SAP products together to handle the event mesh. Solace is not a competitor, but we just have some business needs where we need to use multiple tools. We don't need people to maintain it as it is a cloud-integrated tool, so everything gets taken care of by SAP. Only from the administrative side do we have to take care of the tool, and it is managed by a separate team. SAP mentioned some AI initiatives that are attached to the tool. Areas like machine learning and AI are not mature enough to fulfill or suffice the current business needs because we have some custom solutions, which are now legacy-based ones, since we have used them for the past twenty years. With AI solutions, it is difficult because it is more like a vanilla flavor that the solution has. Even though it is compatible with some plain stuff, it is not for custom solutions. It will take time for SAP to help us in the future, but as of now, I have not found any use case with the tool's AI or ML offerings. I can recommend the product to others considering the features it offers along with the frequent updates along with the kind of visibility that the solution has for the future in terms of product development. If you see Gartner's report, you will see that SAP Cloud Platform has been in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for a long time. Continuously, the tool is being improved and has been maintaining a steady pace. I can recommend the tool for small enterprises but not where they already have many additional expenditures. SAP Cloud Platform is a costly solution, so for a small enterprise, it can just be an expenditure because they are not into some core business. Instead of SAP Cloud Platform, I can recommend products like Informatica, which is cheaply priced, or Dell and Boomi, which might not be complete and are now able to use many tools. Nowadays, Azure Cloud or Azure DevOps also supports small enterprises, and they both have all the capabilities, landscapes, and ecosystems from Azure, which is good. Small enterprises can go with Azure's subscriptions. I rate the tool an eight out of ten.

Companies should carefully assess their application and system requirements. It's essential to determine precisely what is needed, and the company's assistance should focus on understanding these requirements. If certain systems are unable to function, potentially considering costs may be advisable. Opting for a more cost-effective solution may be advisable in such cases. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

Unlike traditional on-premises systems, I think it's important to approach SAP with an open mind. The perception that the SAP Cloud Platform is expensive shouldn't influence your decision because it's cost-effective. There are various licensing models, and you only pay for what you use. Understanding that you can save time and money with the SAP Cloud Platform is crucial. One thing that I'm following the events is the event-based integration. Which is quite powerful and very meaningful. It's not like we send too much data or extract it using the traditional approach. But with events, we only fetch what we want and send the receiver what they need. We don't fetch entire payloads unnecessarily and push them to the receiver, even if they don't need it. Also, we don't keep pulling the systems regularly. We only retrieve information when there's a change or event in the source system. I rate the overall product an eight out of ten.
Speaking about a project where SAP Cloud Platform was crucial and used extensively, I would say that in our company, most of our development involved integrating into SAP's business systems. Speaking about whether the tool is useful for data analysis, I know that most of the tools are used for integration between systems, but we have also written some applications for users to connect to and work with the system. My company is investigating the AI services offered by the product since it is a fairly new technology on an SAP platform. My company has used the AI part for some of our own research work and to build project reports. The product improved our company's business operations since we got value out of it. In terms of time to market, the product has undergone quite a lot of development, and I feel that it is constantly improving. In general, SAP Cloud Platform has a fairly decent time to market. I rate the tool an eight out of ten.
The product is perfect for budgeting and financial reporting. However, it needs to be improved to plan for manufacturing and production. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
I recommend the solution to those who plan to use it, but I would always say that the cost of building and maintaining integration in the solution will always be higher. I rate the overall tool a seven out of ten.

Overall, I would rate SAP cloud platform a seven out of ten. There is always room for improvement. SAP is not for small-sized businesses. It is a solution better suited for enterprises. Regardless of the size of the company or the level of adoption, my advice is for SAP to be more flexible in terms of pricing models and application complexity to cater to various business needs. Also, one crucial aspect where SAP lags behind in flexibility is customization to suit specific business requirements. SAP needs to understand that customization is inevitable and should be more supportive of business-driven customization. It's frustrating for users when they are told not to customize, as customization is often necessary to address missing functionalities or optimize solutions. The focus should be on providing simple and cost-effective customization options rather than requiring additional licenses for every specific functionality. This flexibility would greatly benefit businesses by reducing costs and enhancing user experience.
I recommend the SAP Cloud Platform for medium-sized businesses. In my customer's business, forty to fifty people use the solution. Two administrators handle the maintenance of the SAP Cloud Platform. My advice for people planning to use the SAP Cloud Platform for the first time is to go for it, as it's a simple tool. SAP is good for first-timers. My rating for the SAP Cloud Platform is seven out of ten.

I'm a site developer, so I'm not technical enough to know which version of the SAP Cloud Platform I'm using. SAP Cloud Platform is deployed on a public cloud, not on-premises. It's on AWS, with BTP. In the company, the number of people who have access to and use the SAP Cloud Platform is close to ten. Not everyone has access to it. Only a small group of people has access to the SAP Cloud Platform. The only advice I would give anyone planning to use the SAP Cloud Platform is more of a personal opinion on how I've used the software. I'd advise you only to use it if you have dependencies associated with SAP. Otherwise, please go for a more generic cloud provider such as AWS or Azure. I prefer Azure over AWS because of the more straightforward and more organized UI and console compared to AWS. Azure is more user-friendly than AWS. My rating for the SAP Cloud Platform is seven out of ten because it's mostly stable, though I have no information on its licensing costs. After all, that's handled by someone else, so I'm unsure if the platform has any hidden charges. Its integration with SAP solutions is impressive, so if you have applications that utilize SAP data, the SAP Cloud Platform is pretty good. I'm taking away three points from the perfect score of ten because the platform still lacks many features and is very basic compared to the offerings from competitors such as AWS and Azure. My company has a partnership with SAP.

We have a partnership with SAP. We are using the most recent version of the solution. My advice would be for people to know their business case. SAP, not necessarily all the time, is suitable based on the scale. It's good for a medium and a large company one day. I’d rate the solution an eight out of ten.

SAP is one of our vendors. We have a workshop with them. Then we have direct communication with them. I manage a team. I don't use it directly. I manage a team that uses it. I’m not sure what version we are on. However, it is always the latest version or the previous version of the product. I’d rate the solution nine out of ten. It’s very easy to use and integrate, especially with other SAP solutions.
I’m a cloud architect. I’m in pre-sales. My company is a partner with SAP. I’d advise potential users to use the most standard version of SAP services and to use older S/4 HANA services. SAP solutions are pretty good as long as they are standard solutions and do not have a lot of data. We’re using the latest version of the solution. I don’t know the exact version number. We use private, public, and hybrid clouds. I work with various clouds, including AWS, Azure, and IBM. I’d rate the solution an eight out of ten. It fulfills our client’s business needs.

SAP Cloud Platform is an online platform, so it's getting updated all the time. There is no particular version. We have a multi-cloud provider. In the SAP Cloud Platform, you can choose different hyperscalers according to your requirements. We have a few subaccounts running in SAP data centers and a few subaccounts running in Azure. SAP has got a new program called RISE with SAP. For the RISE with SAP program, it's everything in a single contract with SAP. You don't have to have a different contract for different products. SAP would be hosting the infrastructure and you have the possibility to choose the hyperscalers. You can choose which hyperscaler you want to run your systems and the RISE with SAP program includes SAPs Cloud Platform. With that program, SAP is encouraging new greenfield implementations and for us, more customers. Also, they have plans for integrating with bigger customers as well. They have different options for this RISE with the SAP program. So that would be really nice if any new organization needs pitching into or trying to get in with the SAP Cloud Platform. RISE with SAP is the first thing that they have to go with. SAP will come and they'll cover all the information, whatever is needed. I’d rate the solution nine out of ten.

I'd advise other companies to do an assessment with their internal employees or internal functional heads before jumping into any solution. It shouldn't be just one person doing the assessment. They should all do it together and select the product collectively. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

The advice I would give to people considering this solution is that there are a lot of open platforms and tools available. SAP, in particular, is very expensive unless you have an enterprise organization that can afford to use it. Otherwise, it is really very expensive. Personally, I am trying out and testing open source tools like Ionic. Some of those tools are really fantastic, I think. Ionic, for example, has all the features. You have to have proper security in place, but I think that can be managed. But I would recommend that users try out these open source platforms and tools. On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would rate this product for enterprises as about a six.
I have yet to explore all of the features. I would suggest completing a POC before purchasing this solution, or any other solution. Then, going ahead with it once the requirements have been satisfied. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.

Our data center is on SAP's cloud platform. SAP is our cloud. I'd recommend the solution. The future is in cloud platforms. Other companies should start using it if they aren't already. The enterprise portal's end of life is 2024. However, the solution's extending into HANA Cloud Technology. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.
The SAP Cloud Platform Integration is a really good pathway to integrate with the cloud. SAP started with the HANA Cloud Integration and then they changed that and now call it is Cloud Platform Integration. It is doing really well with its presence in the market. But they are really still developing this product. It does not really have 100% of the necessary features available to properly service business clients. Even without that, the product seems to be competitive and is helping people a lot according to the market response. SAP has improved their cloud offerings a lot in the last two years, but I am only using this infrequently because I'm still in the process of discovery and integration. I use HANA Cloud Integration. Now I'm just starting to look into the Cloud Platform Integration because I am focused on the same integration area. SAP is quite a good company with good quality products. I am confident this product is really good for the customers' business in order to integrate their businesses in the Cloud environment. I recommend this product to anyone. This is a good Cloud platform and I already recommended it for many of my colleagues or customers who want to use integration in their businesses. SAP Cloud is a good product and the company has good business practices as well. On a scale of one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I can give the SAP Cloud Platform product eight-out-of-ten. It may really be a seven right now compared to other more mature products. I'm not very sure about this. I am not rating it higher because we still need to gain more experience with the product before we know more exactly where it stands. When I am sure I know the features better, I might give it nine or even a ten. But for a ten, they will have to make a lot of improvements. For example, a month ago we had a knowledge-sharing opportunity with SAP for my whole company about the Cloud Platform Integration. We got training from SAP about the platform and at the time we discussed possible improvements for the product. I think still they have a considerable number of things that need to be improved from the product side. But for sure they are going the extra mile to help educate users about the products and I am confident in SAP and I recommend SAP products.

The decision is with the customer and what they want. We have had bad experiences or negative ones in performance and with the functionality. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.
This solution is updated automatically every three months. My advice for anybody who is migrating from BODS to Cda is to ensure that whatever was done in BODS is capable of working in Cda. There are a lot of transformations missing. The simple ones are there but the complex ones are not possible. So, people should be very careful to make sure that they can achieve everything. We were able to do almost everything. We did have some issues initially, but our consultants are good. This is a good solution but I would say that it is still premature. They are still adding features. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.

When you are using an on-premises version, you need to spend money on the dedicated infrastructure, licensing costs, maintenance, support, etc. In a cloud system, SAP Cloud Platform provides a solution where the licensing costs are based on the number of users and the bandwidth. You don't have to spend time and money on infrastructure or maintenance. The best part about using the cloud solution is that if there is any kind of memory issue in your production system then you can immediately extend your memory at the time. For an enterprise that has the proper integration within their ERP systems, I definitely recommend this solution. If the majority of their business is on cloud systems then I suggest SAP Cloud. However, if most of the business is on-premises then they may not want to go with the cloud version. There are many issues with connecting a VPN between the cloud and an on-premises system. So, it depends on the landscape. Overall, I would definitely recommend going with a cloud system. The biggest lesson that I have learned from using this solution is that SAP has been able to save us a great deal of time. They know about businesses and provided us with most of the business scenarios. Suppose, for example, that I need to do an implementation for a client. They provide solutions that I simply have to import to provide the client with an efficient system, and can then be customized based on their requirement. It saves a great deal of development effort. This is a good solution, but I would like to see more flexibility to connect to the on-premises systems. There are older systems that are being moved from on-premises to cloud, but they have years of data and sometimes there are problems. Supporting these systems is difficult, and better connectivity would help us perform better support. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
My advice to someone considering this solution would be to check the standard capabilities and leverage existing standard features. I would rate it an eight out of ten. Not a ten because it is missing features.

We're SAP customers. We're using the latest version of the solution.
