I would rate Trend Micro Apex One 9 out of 10. We have 2 administrators for Apex One with 600 endpoints deployed across multiple departments in one location. Maintaining Apex One is easy. Trend Micro Apex One is a user-friendly solution with great features and I recommend it to others.

I would advise to conduct a comprehensive comparison, considering not just the initial cost but also the renewal and support costs of Trend Micro in comparison to other companies. From a technical standpoint, it is undeniably a stable product. However, commercially, there are some challenges. Overall, I would rate it seven out of ten.
I would rate Trend Micro Apex One nine out of ten. For an organization with 500 to 700 employees, at least two dedicated personnel should be assigned to maintain Apex One if the customer operates multiple shifts. Otherwise, one dedicated personnel per shift is sufficient. Trend Micro Apex One is a good option for organizations that don't have budget constraints.

I would rate Trend Micro Apex One nine out of ten. Trend Micro Apex One can be challenging to learn due to its extensive features, but it is easy to manage once we are familiar with the console. Our customers range from small to enterprise businesses. Maintenance is required for packet releases on the servers. Many customers are moving to this type of centralized system, and I recommend Trend Micro Apex One.

I'm an independent freelance consultant. I used the solution within the last company I worked for and used it as an administrator and a user. I'm not sure if I have noticed a reduction in viruses and malware since moving on to ApexOne. I worked with it for too short of a time period. We never had a real outbreak or anything. I'd advise those considering the product to do a good proof of concept to really make sure the solution fits. Have your needs and everything in place. Get all the people who will administer the product involved and well-trained. Look at all of the reports as well. Overall, I would rate the solution six out of ten.
I would recommend Trend Micro Apex One to other users for stronger security, documentation, and support. I'm working for a company that is a partner for Trend Micro. We act as an intermediary between the vendor and the customer. Trend Micro Apex One is more comfortable for administration, and its customer support is good. If I want to make a ticket for Trend Micro, I can make it via Trend Micro support or contact its partner. Trend Micro Apex One's capability to defend endpoints against threats is very strong because it uses a signature-based outlet. I can investigate threats using vendors like Trellix and Carbon Black, but Trend Micro Apex One is the first to detect malware, ransomware, and malicious scripts. Trend Micro Apex One has advanced protection capabilities that adapt to protect against unknown and stealthy new threats. It's very important as the algorithms of Trend Micro communicate with the ApexOne appliance and provide feedback with all of the updated signatures. Trend Micro Apex One detects ransomware with runtime machine learning capabilities because it has a malware protection module, and it's very important to us. Trend Micro Apex One can integrate with Trend Micro Ericsson solution and take logs from it. We can integrate Trend Micro Apex One and Trend Micro DDAN. It is very easy to learn Trend Micro Apex One. It is easy to administer Trend Micro Apex One. It took just one day for us to realize the benefits of Trend Micro Apex One from the time of deployment. Since moving to Trend Micro Apex One, we have seen an 80% reduction in viruses and malware. Trend Micro Apex One has reduced administrative overhead for us by 100%. Overall, I rate Trend Micro Apex One ten out of ten.
I'm a customer and end-user. We do not use the solution to integrate with other security products. We don't use any other products. We have tried to use Trend Micro's managed XDR services in conjunction with Apex One, however, we weren't able to install an agent, so we're looking into it. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten. I'd recommend it as a security solution.
Since we have installed the solution in the system, malware attacks get quarantined, and we get notifications on our dashboard. We get a notification on the solution's centralized dashboard, and then we take the needful action on that. Trend Micro Apex One has advanced protection capabilities that adapt to protect against unknown and new threats. The solution detects ransomware with run-time machine learning capabilities. The solution's ransomware detection ability is very important to us. Trend Micro Apex One's dashboard provides us with a single console for cross-layer detection, threat hunting, and investigation. It is very important to have a single console for cross-layer detection. The solution does not provide end-to-end visibility into the entire IT security environment. It only provides visibility for the desktop part. There is a separate solution for the server part. However, the solution provides complete visibility for the end user part. The solution integrates with other security products. As part of integrating with other security products, when a threat is detected in the network sandbox, the solution deploys rapid updates to the endpoint. We have scheduled updates. On the server, it gets automatically updated, but on the end user part, we have defined the schedule for when it should get updated. Trend Micro Apex One is easy to learn because it's a web-based application. It gives a dashboard on the web, making it easy to identify the affected endpoint or port. So it's easy, and any technical person can use it in a simple way. Administering Trend Micro Apex One is just a one-time setup; if you have done it, you won't face any issues. Trend Micro Apex One has reduced administrative overhead for us. Earlier, we used a different endpoint solution. So the administrative people involved with the old solution are also involved in the new solution. We are using Trend Micro's managed XDR services in conjunction with Apex One, which has been quite useful for our Apex One deployment. It's an additional benefit to the Trend Micro Service. Users can evaluate the product, and they can use it. We have been using it for the last six to seven years, and it's a stable solution. We haven't faced many issues. The functions we set are normal, and if the end-user faces any issue, we can easily rectify it. Trend Micro Apex One is a user-friendly solution that can be used by all organizations. Overall, I rate Trend Micro Apex One an eight out of ten.
I give Trend Micro Apex One an eight out of ten. Apex One is deployed in our government headquarters as well as 50 branches. For maintenance, we have a technical team that conducts security and policy checks every quarter. I recommend Apex One to others.
We are using the SaaS version, but there's on-prem available as well. Overall, I would rate this solution a nine, on a scale from one to 10, with one being the worst and 10 being the best.
I'm using the latest version of the solution. It's on the cloud and, therefore, always the latest. I'd recommend the solution to others who would like to try the solution. It offers good customer-facing protection. We've had customers that have avoided items like ransomware and malicious attacks. I would rate the solution nine out of ten overall. We've been pleased with its security capabilities.

I didn't have any hands-on experience with another system to compare the metrics too. However, I have found the solution to work well. Trend Micro Apex One gives you a lot of features. You will make good use of it if you have somebody who can attend to the dashboards and do deep security scans. In larger organizations, you would have somebody dedicated and well-trained to oversee the solution. It is important and an advantage to have somebody well-trained and who can receive the value from the information they are able to provide. Otherwise, it will be similar to what we are doing. The solution is sitting on the endpoint, and we are happy that we are not being infected. I rate Trend Micro Apex One an eight out of ten.
I rate Trend Micro Apex One nine out of 10. I don't give it a perfect 10 because of the Active Directory integration. It would make things easier if the Active Directory were integrated more seamlessly.

I am looking to upgrade Trend Micro Apex One to another solution. Both Kaspersky and SentinelOne, are under my budget and I am planning to move to one of them soon. We are looking for a change because I have Windows 7 which is considered a legacy OS. It has been made completely obsolete by Microsoft. We're planning to update our machine to Windows 11 and then we will think of changing the Trend Micro Apex One. I have not found a good deal or sales, I would stick with Trend Micro Apex One because I have never faced any problem. Whatever I want, this solution has. I cannot give you any negative feedback. We are using two threat protection solutions. We have different locations and they are in different countries. In some countries, we are using Kaspersky and Trend Micro Apex One, and they both are on the same platform. We have not purchased the EDR module for Trend Micro Apex One, we use the basic endpoint. At this moment I'm looking for the EDR option, endpoint detection response, and the rollback. Trend Micro Apex One Apex One doesn't have the rollback feature. I rate Trend Micro Apex One an eight out of ten.

Trend Micro Apex One is a good product, with the inclusion of more features. Some projects will involve the implementation of the solution and others will be upgraded versions from OfficeScan to Trend Micro Apex One or Apex Central. Our control manager has switched to Apex Central. Sometimes a small company will be involved and at other times the implementations. The solution is both cloud-based and on-premises. We have around 20 customers using the solution. I rate trend Micro Apex One as an eight out of ten.
The product is very good. It's stable, and if you are not looking for a cloud based proxy then you should go for Trend Micro. The pricing is very good, but Cloud proxy pricing is very high. I would rate Trend Micro Apex One a nine out of ten.

We are just a customer. We don't have a business relationship with the organization. In general, I would rate the solution at a seven out of ten. It's okay. We've mostly been happy with it. This product basically a traditional antivirus system. Similar to McAfee and Symantec, Trend Micro, is based on traditional antiviruses. They have made improvements on some things, however, at the enterprise level, we know that these days we need a second layer of protection, specifically for malware. That is why we are using two solutions - Trend Micro plus Cisco AMP. AMP is specific to malware protection. Trend Micro handles the traditional antivirus side. It's very difficult to trust just one solution these days. We need to make sure we cover all the protection layers. Trend Micro claims that basically, Apex One is an enterprise level solution. We have been using last five years, and, so far, we haven't experienced any problems. Therefore, it's safe to say that we can recommend a product like this to other mid-level or small enterprises.

The management is really good, you can see everything on the dashboard. If someone downloads some kind of infected file or some malicious file, we can see it and it usually gets blocked automatically. I would rate Apex One an eight out of ten. In the next release, I would like to have the ability that if something happens, then we have a record of what exactly has occurred on the station, how it started and how it evolved and eventually, in case something bad happened, something malicious gets through and it wasn't recognized in the signatures and the station got infected so that we can later come and analyze and investigate it and see what exactly happened and learn from it actually for the next time.

It seems like there is a disconnect between the Trend Micro Team and Microsoft. Microsoft is constantly pushing updates and builds, and there is a delay from the Trend side when updates are released. As of now when we start reading that Microsoft's finalizing a build we start scrambling and reading Trend Micro blogs trying to figure out if it supports it. Every solution has its problems, but It is a solid product. The question becomes one of whether there is value in it for the dollar. Does it do what it needs you to do? Has it been working and providing defense? The answer is yes on those fronts. They have tried very hard to develop a cohesive product that supports us, that offers the ability to scan for viruses and scan for malware. It doesn't hit everything, but the more that I look at different solutions, no solution is a panacea and a magic bullet, and anyone who tells you there is, is not being truthful. The question becomes, is the manual work outweighing the value that the solution adds? For us, we can handle the updates but when we started to really have a lot of issues where users, especially now in COVID times, working remotely have their machines crippled by the scans and taking a long time, chewing up a lot of CPU, users become frustrated with the solution. We spent the last two months chasing ghosts and trying to troubleshoot. It was frustrating. As the leader of our IT organization, I need to ensure the stability and usability of all systems for all users. I still think that the product has value, but I've just experienced a lot of pain points to realize that it's becoming cyclical for us, and the pain points are becoming too much. We are in POCs with other products but we may find that they are just as bad and may stick with Trend. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

I would rate Trend Micro a ten out of ten. The only thing that I would be presumptuous enough to tell Trend Micro they need to improve is that they need to have a bold interface for a C level executive so that they can look at a screen and see the holistic picture of what the state is giving them.

I think Apex One is a very good product for end-users. Some of the features you get here are also available in Symantec which is a better package, but Apex One is a better end solution. Symantec and McAfee both have good solutions but Apex One and Symantec are the best for end point security. For singular implementation, Apex One management is great for application control and deactivation. I would rate this solution a 10 out of 10.
As a salesman, I encourage the customer to buy the full suite for the engines. The biggest lesson I learned is about the EPR solution. Some people say it's easier to use this type of product. This is the next generation of antivirus technology. I would rate this solution as seven and a half out of ten. I think the solution is a classic, really basic software. It's good enough. The footprint on the computer is not very heavy, it's not heavy at all and I think it has a good signature database. From holistic function, it gives a good enough performance. I think they have additional features but not for the new products with new licenses and all the new protections like the EDL or remediation. I think they added new features, but you have to pay, they did not just scale the basic product but I think it's about marketing and income. I would recommend this product for endpoint protection. Not for the hosted email security and other services on the emails. I would rate this solution at seven our of 10.
Focus on the productivity gains that you will have. We don't have a lot of security experts in the company. We are a very small team, so we need to be very productive with the products that we have. I would rate this product at nine out of ten. It has a lot of the capabilities that we need.

I rate Trend Micro Apex One eight out of 10. It's an excellent solution that helps companies mitigate attacks from the internet.
Overall, I would rate Trend Micro Apex One an eight out of ten.
I would rate Trend Micro Apex One a ten out of ten. Our customers in the oil and gas industry deploy Trend Micro Apex One across their environments.
I rate Trend Micro Apex One eight out of 10. I would recommend it.
I would rate the product a nine out of ten.
I would rate the solution an eight out of ten because there's still room for improvement.
Overall, I rate the solution a ten out ten.
Overall, I would rate the solution a seven out of ten. There are some issues with the behavior filtering functionality.
I give the solution a nine out of ten. I recommend the solution to others because Trend Micro Apex One provides good protection.
I'm not sure which version I'm using at the moment. I don't directly manage the solution at the moment. Potential new users need to evaluate their licensing cost and the solution, whether it checks all the boxes and has all the features they need. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten.
I rate the solution a seven out of ten in comparison to SentinelOne and CrowdStrike.
We use the solution in-house. We also resell it and are integrators. We're using the latest version of the solution. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten.
I would recommend this solution to others. I would rate Trend Micro Apex One an eight out of ten.
I'm an infrastructure consultant, not part of the security team. My company is a system integrator in Thailand. We have many, many silos, e.g. we have the security, data, network, and development teams. My role is under the network team. I wouldn't recommend Trend Micro Apex One to other users who want to start using it. My company pays for the license of this software, but I don't know if it's a monthly or a yearly subscription. My rating for Trend Micro Apex One is a five out of ten.
We are talking about the smart scan, office scan. The solution is integrated in the system quite well. There are around 400 users making use of the solution in our organization. I would, indeed, recommend the solution to others. Trend Micro Apex One constantly provides us with updates and affords the systems good protection, so I rate it as a ten out of ten.
I would recommend this solution to others. I rate Trend Micro Apex One a nine out of ten.
I rate Trend Micro Apex One a nine out of ten.
I rate Trend Micro Apex One as a 7.5 out of ten.
If you are looking to use this solution, I would definitely recommend it, especially if you are not satisfied with the solution that you are currently using. I would rate Trend Micro Apex One a nine out of ten.
I would recommend others to try another solution if pricing is a concern because the cost can be high for companies and there are cheaper solutions. I rate Trend Micro Apex One seven out of ten.
I rate this solution a 10 out of 10.
I would recommend this solution to others. I rate Trend Micro Apex One a ten out of ten.
We have really had a good experience so far with Apex One.
I would recommend this solution and rate it a nine out of 10.
We are both a distributor of this product as well as a customer. I'd recommend the solution to other companies. We don't just offer it to clients. We use it ourselves. We believe in the solution. We see the value in it. I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten. Although there are some improvements to be made, it's a very complete product with good flexibility and a good level of flexibility.
Overall, this is a good solution and I can recommend it. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
I do recommend ApexOne on prem rather than SAAS solution if customer is much concerned on security levels, as a system integrator. ratings can be given 8.5 or more
I would recommend this solution who are interested in endpoint security. I would rate Trend Micro Apex One a ten out of ten.
I would rate Trend Micro Apex One a nine out of ten.
I rate Trend Micro Apex One a four out of ten.
I rate Apex One eight out of 10. I would recommend it for home-based users. My only real issue with Apex One is the response time from support.
I would recommend Apex One to other people. But it is a little bit of a pricey product. If they are able to pay this costly price, then definitely, I can recommend it. On a scale of one to ten, I would give Trend Micro Apex One an eight.
I rate Apex One eight out of 10. I recommend it. It is more generic than Kaspersky, and I would say it's more effective than most competing solutions.
My advice to others is if they want to protect their end-users, this is a great solution when compared to similar products. I rate Trend Micro Apex One a nine out of ten.
I rate Trend Micro Apex One a seven out of ten.
I would recommend this solution. However, we have found that CrowdStrike is better. I rate Trend Micro Apex One a six out of ten.
I would rate Trend Micro Apex One a nine out of ten.
I would recommend this solution to others. I rate Trend Micro Apex One a seven out of ten.
I would recommend it for some infrastructure. I would rate Trend Micro Apex One a seven out of 10.
We are selling this product. We would definitely recommend this solution to others who are interested in using it. I would rate Trend Micro Apex One an eight out of ten.
We're systems integrators. We're using the latest version of the solution right now. Overall, I would rate the solution at an eight out of ten. We've been mostly happy with the product and its capabilities. I'd recommend the solution to other users and companies.
I would recommend this solution. I would rate Trend Micro Apex One a nine out of ten.
On a scale of one to ten, I would rate Trend Micro Apex One at nine. If you are looking for a data solution along with the end point, this would be an option to consider. Also, Trend Micro Apex One has DLP options.
We are resellers of Trend Micro. We're using the latest version of the solution. I'm not sure of the exact version number. We use various deployment models, including on-premises and cloud. In general, I would rate the solution nine out of ten. Our customers, for the most part, have been quite happy with the solution and its level of security.
This product is easy to use, doesn't consume too much in terms of resources, and has automatic scanning. Because of these features, I recommend it to other users. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
I would recommend this solution. Apex One has to make some changes to the scanning process. That's a negative point, but on the other hand, we get good support that responds almost immediately to our requests. I would rate Trend Micro Apex One a seven out of ten.
I would definitely recommend Trend Micro, especially if they have a low budget. If they have a larger budget then I could suggest Sophos, which is also a very good product. It is all dependant on the customer's budget. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
Depending on the requirement, I would recommend this solution, although it should have more granular reporting. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
I would rate OfficeScan a five out of ten.
I would recommend Apex One, probably the upgraded version. Maybe the XDR will meet today's needs, i.e. the XDR upgraded version. I would give Trend Micro Apex One 7 out of 10.
I would recommend to install and implement this solution. It is a good solution. For every solution, there'll be pros and cons. I would rate Trend Micro Apex One an eight out of ten.
We're just a customer. We don't have any professional relationship with the company. We're using the latest version of the solution. Apex One is the best solution for endpoint security due to its many wonderful features, and fast data protection. On a scale from one to ten, I'd rate the solution at a ten.
We're just a customer. On a scale from one to ten, I would rate this solution at a nine. It's been very good. We've been happy with the results so far.
I would definitely recommend Trend Micro to other potential users. On a scale from one to ten, I would give Trend Micro a rating of eight.
This is a mature product that is nice to use. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
I would rate this solution a six out of ten.
We're quite familiar and regularly work with Trend Micro products. The solution is endpoint protection bundled with a couple of more features, with basically a lot of DLT application filtering, et cetera. We are a system integrator. We offer tech support and help our customers. We sell Trend Micro licenses to companies. I'd recommend the solution. It's very nice. We've supplied it to many clients with very good results. We haven't received any complaints at all and our agents are satisfied with the solution. Overall, I'd rank it nine out of ten.
I would rate this solution an eight out of 10.
We're just a customer. We don't have a business relationship with Trend Micro. We're using the latest version of the solution. OfficeScan offers basic anti-virus security, but if you're looking for more advanced security features, you really need to look at more sophisticated and modern services. I'd rate the solution five out of ten.
As a current user of Trend Micro, I would recommend it, it does the job. It works fine and usually stops different virus attempts.
This is definitely a product that I recommend. That said, there is no product on the market that is 100%. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
We work with a lot of solutions, like Carbon Black, McAfee, Symantec, etc. There are features and benefits to each of these.
This is a product that I recommend, as it does exactly what it's supposed to do. The biggest lesson that I have learned from using this solution is that it's difficult to always be one step ahead of the guys that are introducing malware, but I think that Trend Micro is doing a good job. They are always updating their product. Overall, I am very happy with this solution, and it does what is advertised. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
We are a reseller so we recommend the product to our clients. We work with the public cloud deployment model with Trend Micro as the provider of the cloud. I would rate the solution 7.5 out of ten.
On a scale from one to ten, I would rate the platform a nine.
Focus on the productivity gains that you will have. We don't have a lot of security experts in the company. We are a very small team, so we need to be very productive with the products that we have. I would rate this product at nine out of ten. It has a lot of the capabilities that we need.
