We normally use it as an antivirus and antispam solution. We use it to block USB ports on PCs and do other things like that. By implementing Apex One, we wanted to block all the USB ports on the computers. That was our first target. We also wanted a centralized system where we could track and see all the computers at the same time.

We are using Apex One in the cloud because we are a ministry, and we have more than a hundred branches. All the branches are connected and integrated through the cloud. We have 6,500 endpoints or 20,000 if we include all the branches.

Our experiences involve troubleshooting and resolving problems related to proxy services, contributing to a diverse set of use cases in our efforts. We currently utilize the complete premium suite and have not integrated it with any other security plans. The learning curve for Apex One is minimal; the user console is user-friendly. Effectively using the administrator console poses no significant challenges, and no specialized training is necessary. We utilize Apex One as a service, yet the workload remains consistent.
We utilize Trend Micro Apex One for endpoint security across all of our clients, managing it centrally alongside the entire Trend Micro suite. We implemented Trend Micro Apex One to improve our endpoint security.
We use the solution for security for endpoints. I do a lot of POCs to measure response. Trend Micro uses agents to communicate with servers. We're using the service gateway. We use the cloud and take advantage of virtual patching. Most customers now use the platform. However, I also have a lot of experience with on-premises setups. I work on various models and work on multiple Trend Micro products.
Our customer experienced a ransomware attack while using a different security solution. This prompted them to switch to Trend Micro Apex One, which they deployed for both their servers and endpoints. However, they only opted for the Endpoint Detection and Response version for their servers, not for their endpoints. We have deployed Trend Micro Apex One to strengthen our defenses against viruses, enhance access control, and implement device control measures.

I am currently not using it. I am currently at a banking site, but before that, I was at a managed service provider vendor site.
We use Trend Micro Apex One for device control and behavior monitoring. I investigate scenarios by the number of Trend Micro Apex One logs and show the root cause of the issues.
We primarily use the solution for endpoint protection. We have only used the solution for six months, however, it has already improved the security posture of our organization.
We use Trend Micro Apex One for securing end-user systems, desktops, and laptops. We also use it to secure the data in the user system, which we officially provide to employees. It also supports backward compatibility by providing virtual patching to operating systems like Windows 8, whose end-of-life was declared by Microsoft.

Trend Micro Apex One is a nine-point security solution from Trend Micro. We primarily use the solution for all of the scanning of our endpoint devices.
We use Trend Micro to build our entire, CI/CD pipeline. In short, I check out the code from my VCS (Version Control System), then I run a static code analysis as the first job in the pipeline. From that point onward, I can do multiple scans in multiple environments. For example, I can have the code checkout from my Dev environment, run the static code analysis, then I can do a folder scan. I perform the scan in my Dev environment, in the integration environment, and in the UAP environment. These are the multiple scans that you can run and enter on your application. All the static code analysis is on the application-side, and the rest of the workflows can be triggered in several places throughout the pipeline and on the infrastructure side as well. I can use it to do VAPT (vulnerability assessment and penetration testing) throughout the entire pipeline. Broadly speaking, it means adopting the DevOps culture of Trend Micro. DevOps culture is well adopted in Trend Micro. It's very comparable to Prisma Cloud. Palo Alto has recently informed me about their Prisma Cloud offering regarding CI/CD deployment. We develop and deploy the CI/CD pipeline in the free workflow, using various tools like GitLab. Palo Alto is a big competitor of Trend Micro. Within our organization, there are roughly 1,000 plus users, using Trend Micro. We definitely plan on using Trend Micro in the future. They are one of our preferred vendors, along with Forescout. Forescout handles the initial stages of threat discovery and it integrates with SIEM. If we are going to continue with Trend Micro as our endpoint security solution, then we need to have a SIEM solution, like IBM QRadar, ArcSight, Forescout, Micro Focus ArcSight.

We have been a Trend client for some time and we looked at this product as the next evolution. We had servers on-prem to manage our Trend install and we went with the Apex One real-time monitoring solution. Being cloud-based meant we didn't have to worry about upgrading the backend servers. We could also be sure that the regular disk came down to the components and that they will update properly on each one of our devices. We are customers of Trend and I'm the manager of our company.
Our business is what you would call national key infrastructure so if anything happens to our business we will have a major economic impact for Africa.
