The pricing was previously considered affordable, however, currently, it is on the rise due to a new licensing segregation policy. The renewal process has become more complex, and each license is more expensive than before. This situation prompts us to consider exploring alternative products to Trend Micro.

Apex One is expensive. On a scale of one to ten with ten being the most expensive, Apex One is an eight. Initially, customers may be satisfied with the price of Apex One for the first year or two. However, as they become aware of other alternatives that meet their needs more effectively or at a lower cost, they start considering switching to a different option.

Apex One is a bit expensive, but the additional AWS costs are limited. It's competitive compared to other solutions in the market. It's a good price for the functionality that it provides.
Trend Micro Apex One's subscription model is definitely on the expensive side. Earlier, we used to pay a one-time license fee and yearly support charges. However, with the subscription model, we have to pay more for the complete cost every year.

There are licenses for Apex One's individual security features, so it depends on what the customer needs. But in general, Trend Micro is cheap, and many customers require it.

If I compare Trend Micro Apex One with other solutions there are a few challenges for customers who have do not need more licenses. Sometimes the customers struggle because this product is totally an enterprise solution, and the price for the licenses can be expensive for individuals or small organizations. The premium level features should be added to the general features. It would be very helpful for general users because when we are trying to provide the premium features to the general users, sometimes it's very costly. If features are available for general users, it would extend their market globally.

It used to be that the customer had to pay for licensing fees. Sometimes he dealt directly deal with our company and at other times with that of Trend Micro, which would have dealings with us. Whether the license is monthly or annual depends on the deal of the company. When a company is international it may have a global contract that would be relevant. Otherwise, the deal may vary according to the country or partner involved.
We are not required to buy new licenses. The existing licenses will expire and we have to renew the license. The issue is that we have requested a web proxy, cloud proxy feature, but the cloud proxy, with Trend Micro, has a different console, it's a different agent. But I understand other competitors like CrowdStrike and Sophos, have a single agent for anti-malware that includes the DLP, the device control, and the cloud proxy. The price for Trend Micro is reasonable.

The pricing, as compared to other options, is a bit higher. However, they're offering with single license multiple applications. With this product, you get things like application control, vulnerability control, et cetera. They have added more benefits. You may pay more, however, you also get more. Altogether, it's a rather reasonable offer.

It is a completely SaaS-based model. Licensing costs depend completely on the number of users or licenses. They have a specific pricing structure. For example, if you are looking for 100 users to be on the product, in the Indian market (we're based in India), the cost is nearly $2,500 to $3,000 maximum for one three-year license. We'll usually get a three-year subscription.

The costs of the service fluctuate for us; I can't really say how much it costs our organization in general. I do know that it's not expensive. cost-wise, it's on the lower end of the spectrum. The licensing we have is all-inclusive; there aren't any extra costs involved. If we decide to stay with Trend Micro and upgrade to a better service, we'll be paying a higher price.
The price point is exceptionally competitive. And I find that in most cases it's actually better than the competition. When you start looking at everything that you're getting and you're lumping all of the stuff together, it is exceptionally competitive. It is not a cheap solution so if you want cheap, then you go with another solution. But from a corporate perspective, I think they are exceptionally reasonably priced. So much so that I think the displacing of the technology is going to be detrimental to any business because you're going to end up buying a much more inferior product.
It's well priced at a yearly rate. The price itself depends on whether the solution is a full suite, half suite, or some other engine. It's different according to the consumer's requests.
Licensing costs happen on a yearly basis. The costing is average. They're not the most expensive solution, but they aren't cheap either. There aren't any other costs beyond the yearly licensing fee.
