Threat protection is a valuable feature of the product. One vital aspect of Trend Micro Smart Protection is the release of frequent updates so that any DDoS attacks can be blocked. In our company, we have found the integration capabilities of the product to be flawless, as it integrates easily with almost every third-party product. Our organization mostly deals with the on-prem version of the product, but I believe the vendor offers a hybrid version as well, which can be used both in the cloud and on-prem. I would rate Trend Micro Smart Protection as nine out of ten overall. I would definitely recommend Trend Micro Smart Protection to others.
The multi-layered defense mechanism improves our company's security posture, but our company cannot depend on only one security tool. In our company, we should have a multi-layer defense mechanism to implement and achieve a zero-trust strategy in our environment. Considering the current market risks and new threats coming in, our company has to evolve while evaluating the solution more frequently. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it. The tool is very beneficial in protecting our environment and securing the posture of our company's ecosystem. I rate the overall tool a nine out of ten.

I recommend the product especially for small to medium-sized enterprises seeking robust endpoint protection. Ensure it aligns with your organization's security needs and integrates well with existing infrastructure. Endpoint security is crucial, complemented by network security measures and robust data protection policies. I rate it an eight.

Trend Micro Smart Protection has improved our company's endpoint security posture since it is useful for web security. Trend Micro's zero trust strategy is also helpful, as it works in hybrid, cloud, and on-premises environments. My company still faces challenges with the product, and I feel that the product needs to be upgraded more in order to be more effective against malware attacks. For threat detection accuracy and its impact on our company's security operations, my company has access to a firewall, a separate team, and everything else that is required to deal with cyber attacks. The product is really good for SMBs, especially for businesses with budget constraints. I rate the tool a six out of ten.

Some real viruses have trespassed the protection, but it is common for many other products. That's why we have different products. Sometimes, Trend Micro is the best, and other times it is not the best. The solution's data loss prevention capabilities work for important personal information, including information about salaries for the HR department. The impact of the solution's user interface and ease of use has been normal on our security operations. The solution's user interface is not very heavy and difficult to use, but it does not have other advantages. We have three guys who deal with everything in the administration department, including network security, operating systems, storage, and backups. Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.
When the customer has a product in place, they should try to utilize all the modules available in the product. When we move on to deployment, somebody can stop with the endpoint security due to the engineers not having the proper quality to deploy the product. But when it comes to vulnerability management, DLP modules, and application control, all need to be used in the network. I would rate the product a nine out of ten.

By using Trend Micro, we can minimize data leaks that often result from ransomware incidents. Additionally, the solution allows us to exercise control over user actions, enabling us to apply security measures to safeguard user data. This undoubtedly brings significant advantages to a company. I would rate Trend Micro a nine out of ten.
I rate this solution an eight out of ten. Using Trend Micro Smart Protection depends on the business case. Here in Egypt, we like the technical support, and they have a very good reputation. We have good staff in the country, and I recommend Trend Micro Smart Protection to anyone in the Egyptian market.
I would recommend Trend Micro Smart Protection to others. The adaptability of this solution is very good in a short time. I rate Trend Micro Smart Protection an eight out of ten.

I would recommend it for people with budget constraints and smaller companies. I would not recommend it for what we consider as enterprise companies here in South Africa. It is a good product. As compared to other endpoint protection products, I would rate it a six out of 10.

We're customers and end-users. We're using the latest version of the solution. However, I do not know the version number off-hand. I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten due to the fact that I don't really like the web filtering. I'd recommend the solution to other users.
I'm an end-user of the product. I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. We've been happy with its capabilities over the years. I would recommend the solution, as, so far, we haven't had any issues whatsoever.

As a reseller, I would advise new users not to get the license directly. It's better to get it through value-added resellers who have some information, recommendations, and the appropriate settings that best suit the application. On a scale from one to ten, I would give Trend Micro Smart Protection a six.
The suitability of this product depends on the scenario. There are many similar products on the market right now, and everybody is evaluating them based on their own needs. That said, this is a good product and it is worth having a look at. I would rate this solution a six out of ten.

We're just a customer. We don't have a business relationship with Trend Micro. Trend Micro may be planning to launch a new product called Apex or Alex in January. However, right now, we are using the most current version of the solution which was launched in July. This version is compatible with Windows 10. We actually waited for this release to happen due to the fact that the previous versions of Trend Micro were not compatible with the latest Windows so we couldn't upgrade our Windows clients. We waited nearly three months, or maybe two months, so we would be able to upgrade our clients' Windows builds to the latest version, and ensure everything was compatible. We have a management server that manages the licenses and the number of computers and the deployment and management of computers. It companies are considering the solution, it's a good idea to do a virtual benchmark. I wasn't sure that Trend Micro was a good solution, so I ran a benchmark. I had prior experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection, and also Panda software- the Panda Security Cloud Version. BI found that Trend Micro was very reliable in terms of when we did the benchmark on the software, on the licenses, on the management side, and the admin solution overhead. Considering the trade sanctions and all the complications we have in Iran, I found Trend Micro to be compatible with those sanctions as well, as it's a Japanese company and they are not using any technology developed in U.S. It was a sanction-compliant solution as well. In terms of the cost, you could buy the license for three years or five years. It was almost hassle-free to get the new party license for three years. You don't need to pay for any license renewal every year. It's very straightforward and usable. In terms of administration, the liability is better than Panda, Sophos, and Symantec. With Symantec, it's a U.S. product, therefore we couldn't use it in Iran anyway. Overall, I would rate the solution eight out of ten. However, with the embargo, there isn't as much competition in the market right now. We don't have too many options.

In Saudi Arabia, we are only selling on-premises models. The customers mostly request for the on-premises model, not the cloud model, due to the regulation issues. As per government regulations, we cannot send our data to anything outside Saudi Arabia. That's why the possibility is only to use on-premises products. Trend Micro Smart Protection is basically the number one endpoint protection platform that I propose to my customers. As a solution architect, I would recommend Trend Micro Smart Protection. I would rate Trend Micro Smart Protection a nine out of ten. It just needs more integration and more explanation about the product.
I would recommend this solution to my customers. Symantec requires many agents for different modules but this only requires one agent. I would rate it an eight out of ten. It's not perfect, it has room for improvement.
There was a big gap in the availability of this product in Pakistan from 2009 to 2017. There was simply no presence of Trend Micro. In 2017, they hired people and they started a local distributor that included a technical team. With the backend support here, it has strengthened the market. When we demonstrate this solution to potential clients, we conduct the demo on the cloud. However, we leave the option to them whether they want an on-premises or cloud-based deployment. Organizations and banks in the financial sector in Pakistan generally do not use cloud-based solutions at this time. That said, my advice for anybody who is implementing this solution is to use a cloud-based deployment. It is much easier to administer because you have access to the dashboard from anywhere at any time. Also, if it happens that they do require technical support then it is easier to give access to the vendor's support team. Otherwise, it will take longer to resolve the issue. Nothing is perfect and there is always room for improvement. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
I would recommend the solution. I'd rate it nine out of ten. I've not explored all of the features up to now. I still need to see all of the features implemented first to be able to see if anything is missing. However, as of right now, it's working very well for us.

In terms of advice to other users, because there are so many products out there, I would caution anyone to do a thorough POC. It would be helpful. Once a company is hands-on with it, they will begin to understand a lot about the product. Demos are very limiting. Currently, I'm looking at and trying out other solutions as we've moved away from this one. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten.

We have about 3,000 people in our company, and of that, about 2,800 are on the solution. I'd rate the solution ten out of ten. Right now, we anticipate the solution will work well with different vendors. However, this is still a big question for us, as our infrastructure is Cisco, and they provide us with integrations for visibility, connector response threads, etc. At this point, we're considering switching entirely over from Trend Micro to Cisco because we have so much on Cisco already. Our management will ultimately decide on the direction the company decides to go.
I recommend this product as it can be first line of defense for any organization with excellent features, like behavior monitoring, machine learning, and others... Overall, this product is very good, although there is still room for improvement. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
I'm not sure which version of the solution we are currently using (I believe it was the last one), but when we sign on for the next year, we were going over to the Apex version. There are a lot of solutions, and quite a lot of options and for us, but this one is the perfect one for us. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
