It is probably due for a replacement because of its age. Usage-wise, we are trying to move things to a cloud installation in place of the on-premises, so it's probably going to be phased out in some form, eventually. Work with your local representatives from Dell EMC to see if it fits your needs. They have multiple options and versions. It's been very reliable, the support is very good, and it fit our needs very well, but our needs are constantly changing. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

We use the on-premises deployment model. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten. There are, however, many new solutions coming to the market that have much more advanced features.

If your environment is a very stable environment, this solution is a great fit. If your environment isn't a very stable environment, I would make sure that you install it in such a way that it allows you to be flexible. I would mark it as an eight out of 10. There haven't been very many issues with it, it seems to be well maintained and, the only thing that comes to mind is, again, some of the cost factors that are associated with it. It could be a little bit more cost-effective, otherwise, it would be a 10.
Size it right. Get the connectivity to your core switches established and have good admins, ones who know the storage side and who know the compute and network side.
