So far, I've not faced any problem with the switches. Secondly, I can see HPE is providing frequent upgrades to address some security issues. I can get some data about the traffic going through the switches and the performance of the switch through the application.

The product can be used for integrated security in IT networks for small businesses with about 100 customers in one location. I can stack three of four switches in these cases.
I use HPE Ethernet Switches to connect virtual PBX or IP PBX to the voice infrastructure. There are some exceptions to what I will configure, which is to have the same connection for connecting the phone to the switch, and from the phone to the PC, using only one cable.

The company wanted to extend our network and also wants to have the SAN storage, so we deployed it on other switches to create a new network segment and also connect the SAN switches on it.
The use case of this solution depends on our client's environment. Some use HPE Ethernet Switches right out of the box, while some of them use models where the interface can only be opened by Internet Explorer. The primary use cases would be office interconnection and industrial interconnection. The switches are best suited for our small or medium-sized clients.
Around 90 percent of our clients have no in-house IT staff. We resell solutions and manage the hardware and software for networks and desktops. We're a provider of managed services and security. We spec out the solution they need minus the necessary software for their business.

These are units that are a two or three layer solution. Since it's from HP, we have a lifetime warranty for these switches, unless the product is already phased out. But in most cases it takes a long time before they're out of a cycle. Most of these are quite durable. We are customers of HPE Ethernet Switches and I'm head of technical support.
