I use HPE Ethernet Switches for my clients. They choose them mainly because of brand standards and international designers' proposals. In Sri Lanka and the Asia-India region, HPE and Cisco are major service providers. Function-wise, Cisco and HPE are almost equal, but price is a factor, especially for hospitality clients. My clients for HPE Ethernet Switches are usually enterprise businesses. As a designer and consultant, I can't rely on just one product. HPE, Cisco, and Aruba all have proprietary features. I choose based on customer expectations and requirements. All are good, not bad. I'd rate HPE Ethernet Switches more than five out of ten.
The solution's security features are very good, and I rate them ten out of ten. Two people are needed for the solution's deployment and maintenance. I would recommend the solution to other users. I rate the solution ten out of ten for ease of management and configuration. Overall, I rate the solution ten out of ten.

The product has streamlined our smart hospitality services, allowing us to control room amenities like TVs and lights more efficiently. I advise others to consider the included lifetime support and minimal need for additional licensing costs.
The reliability of HPE Ethernet Switches, in terms of uptime and performance, is good. We have no concerns in this regard. I rate the overall solution a nine out of ten. You need to choose the right switching system for your network. The tool offers a wide range of modules, so it is important to select the ones that best serve their specific needs. For instance, if they require high bandwidth, they should opt for those designed for that purpose. Similarly, they should choose the appropriate switching system for a standard network.
The solution can be deployed on-premises and on the cloud. Integrating the solution with our existing network infrastructure was very easy. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
The network is managed by the command line and monitored by several systems. We have our integrations for provisioning the switches. We use standard features of the tool for the access layer. There’s nothing special. The product has a software-defined access system, but we do not use it. Overall, I rate the product an eight out of ten.
I rate HPE Ethernet Switches a ten out of ten. You must understand the product well so you won't waste money. You need to know the deployment to purchase the suitable model. There are different products which can result in high costs.
I am using the latest version of HPE Ethernet Switches. One or two engineers are required for the solution's deployment and maintenance, but it depends on the customer site. HPE Ethernet Switches are more suited for enterprise-level customers. However, Cisco is the best solution for data center-level customers. Overall, I rate HPE Ethernet Switches a seven out of ten.
Since the Indian market is very price-sensitive, HPE Ethernet Switches are preferred from a commercial point of view. Cisco switches are more stable from a technical and commercial point of view, but commercially, HP is the choice for any enterprise. Since HPE Ethernet Switches have an SMB presence, SMB customers will buy them. Overall, I rate HPE Ethernet Switches an eight or nine out of ten.
We are using the latest version of the solution. We use it daily. We do have some local, in-country restrictions we have to deal with. I'd recommend the solution. However, we are finding they are not available at all. Therefore, we need to work with other options. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.
We are customers. We have a support contract through partners. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten. The product is good for hospitals and the healthcare industry since it's quite stable. I would easily recommend this product for healthcare-related scenarios.
I would recommend to anyone looking into implementing HPE Ethernet Switches to go for it if the price makes sense for their organization. Overall, I would rate HPE Ethernet Switches an eight out of 10.
I rate HPE Ethernet switches a solid eight out of 10. This is the best product to get if you're not doing something special. If you're doing something odd, you should consider going with Cisco. There are many cheaper options, but they don't have lifetime hardware support. That's one of the reasons I like HPEs better.
We provide the solution to clients. I've implemented the product enough to know it's a good solution. If it fits a company's needs, they should go ahead. I'd rate it an eight out of ten. Our experience has been largely positive.
I'm just a customer and an end-user. I don't have a business relationship with HP. I'm not sure which version of the solution I'm using at this time. I'd recommend the solution to other people and other companies. I would rate the solution an eight out of ten.

I would rate this solution 9 out of 10. It's not a 10 out of 10 because of the price. My advice is to trust the solution. It is a reliable product, and it works well without a lot of attention. We can leave them and almost forget about it.

I'm not sure which version of the solution we are currently using. When you compare it to other switches, there are no real big differences. It may have a few different specifications here or there, however, largely, it's comparable to everything else that is also on the market. In general, on a scale from one to ten, I would rate the solution at an eight. I've been largely quite pleased with its overall capabilities so far. I'd recommend the solution to other companies and users.

There's the familiarity factor for us. It's something that we hold on to. If you know the product is stable, and it's not outdated then you'll continue to use it. I think it's on par with other vendors like Dell. I'm very satisfied with everything. I've been using HP for a long time already and I think it's quite reliable, even my printer is HP. I would rate this solution a nine out of 10.

We're just a customer. We don't have a business relationship with HP. I can recommend it to middle size companies due to the fact that it's stable and the prices are quite fair. It's also very popular as a product, so it's easy to find experts to manage it. Overall, I'd rate the solution nine out of ten. It really isn't lacking, from our point of view, and has never given us any trouble.
Overall, the product works very well, we don't have any problems, and I can recommend it. Although people can have a lot of trouble with these switches, they are human management issues. This is why we are careful to choose the correct products and to do the implementation and integration correctly. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.
Overall, this is a good product except for the support. I would recommend this product aside from the troubleshooting because the service is awful. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
We use the on-premises deployment model. I know the devices very well, so I prefer HP. I'd recommend the solution. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

I would recommend the Hewlett Packard product. They are very, very stable, and for the money it's really good value. I would rate the product a nine out of 10.
We only use the basic features in this solution. It is just a small configuration that we work with. Perfection does not exist and it's always possible to do more. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
We use the 2500 PoE switches. I have a lot of experience with HP switches. They're very reliable and are implemented easily. The features that they offer are more than enough for our hospital. There are other features on solutions like Cisco and Juniper, but for what we need, this solution is perfect. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.
This is a solution that I recommend. My advice to anybody researching this type of solution is to not go for the cheap solution. Go for the right one. You get what you pay for. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

I would suggest not to invest in this switch. Aruba, which is also HPE, has a great switch. Aruba is taking over these types of switches because of the DLAN and WLAN. I agree that HPE provides good products but I would go with Aruba OS. I would rate this solution a six out of ten.

When it comes to HPE switches, as a recommendation, in the end it depends on the requirements. They have to know exactly what they need because HPE has all types and all levels of switches. They keep changing models, and sometimes we have challenges because we find out that two years later, the model is discontinued. Because of this, I say that it is important to purchase the latest model, and not one that is two or three years old because in another year it will be discontinued. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
I would recommend this product and also a support contract. I don't think that I would pay this price without getting the support. We are happy with this solution but it is really an old model. I would rate this solution a six out of ten.
HP has created the most open, integrated and software-defined networking portfolio and ecosystem of its kind – driving simplification with networks that understand, adapt to and protect your business applications in real-time. Only HP extends the momentum of software-defined networking everywhere–from the mobile edge to the heart of data centers.
