I'm a consultant and I don't use it personally, but our different clients use it for different purposes. It is mainly used for accounting, tracking different transactions into inventory, sales, and purchasing.
We are a big company in Ecuador which sells products and equipment to hospitals and clinics both in the private and public sector. We resell to different countries so that they can perform necessary exams and tests. We use the ERP to integrate with our application in order to sell the products and make sure all the equipment works. The ERP is integrated into that solution and it's not just connected to selling products to clients, but also to all the logistics and the transport of products. We integrate our solution with another field/distributor, and the application that was made for us is integrated into ARC. All the merchandise that goes to the clients is controlled by the ERP when products are purchased.

It's a very comprehensive solution for functions such as managing finance activities, inventory, resources, and the whole supply chain. It is an ERP, but the only drawback is that it's on-premises. It is one of the best PRTs by Microsoft.
The solution is used for purchasing, for sales and receivables, inventory management, and also everything that corresponds to the general ledger. It is also used for general lLedger entries and financial reporting, and for using a payroll module processing. Add-ons for GP are also used for specialized specific industries, like project accounting, also multi-entity management for GP.
We primarily use the solution for our daily transactions, such as purchasing functions, sales functions, inventory management, and the whole general ledger, We also handle our financials and bank reconciliations such as bank management and cashbook management.
