NinjaOne didn't have a lot of issues, but a few things. Like, I used and I experienced that there was a lot of delay with NinjaOne's ticketing system. For example, when a user creates a ticket and raises an issue, it would take 30 to 40 minutes to appear on the IT side. So the time delay issue is the main point. The first one is the delay issue. The second thing is that there is no reporting system. As an IT person, there is no exact reporting system that we can generate ourselves. This feature should be free because now I use Sensu and I can generate all my reports: what I am doing, what I understand, how many things I resolved, and how many tickets I resolved. Multiple times I contacted Ninja support, and I discussed multiple things, like the delay.

I had recently dealt with something that was frustrating in NinjaOne, but I don't remember what it was. I would love it if I could deploy automation processes for locations because, currently, at my workplace, we can't deploy automation processes for locations. In NinjaOne, there is a need to create groups. I already have 12 or 14 locations, where sometimes I just want to deploy some updates, software, or something for specific locations, but I can't do so since I have to go and create a group for that location, which is a lot more work, which I don't like. I would love it if the aforementioned area is considered for improvement. The ticketing system in NinjaOne is not the best. I think NinjaOne has been working on its ticketing system. I have seen how there has been a huge improvement in the tool recently, but it is still not as good as the ticket systems in the market. At my workplace, we don't use ticketing systems. I am waiting for NinjaOne to improve its ticketing system so that I can use it. There is a lot of room for growth and adding more features in NinjaOne. I love how NinjaOne gives its users the possibility to create a custom field, allowing them to create whatever they want. I haven't used NinjaOne a lot, so I don't have anything in mind as to what extra features it needs to have. If I just sit down and look at NinjaOne, I will get a list of things I would love to have in it.
The graphical user interface could be improved. It is not very pleasant to look at, and it can make the experience of setting up and monitoring computers all day boring. The interface could be more user-friendly and visually appealing. For example, when I look at the PeerOS interface, it has changed a lot over time. It is now much more user-friendly and visually appealing. I am tempted to switch to PeerOS because of its interface. However, NinjaOne is better in terms of usability and features.

The main issue I had was the cost and I recently moved away from this solution as a result. I would have liked to have seen more integrations with other PSAs and other remote access systems.
I want NinjaOne to improve the reports. Some of our clients are not tax people, and most of our clients don't understand what's in the reports, even if they read them many times. Ninja should consider how to make the reports more understandable. Though it's an MSP, I'm looking for more complexity. There are times that their pre-built, built-in scripting doesn't run well. I want them to improve more on that side, because there are things that are sometimes hard to understand.

The reporting is lackluster. NinjaOne is great for maintaining systems, but it's hard to use it to understand the state that systems are in without going in and mining the information myself. I rate the reporting two out of 10. It integrates with TeamViewer, but there are integration issues because it's a third-party product. I would like a native solution for that. There have been issues downstream that trickle their way into working with Ninja.
We usually give the developer feedback through our account manager and also the technical person that we reach out to once in a while and most of the time, they take the feedback and within a couple of months, they implement and roll out an audit. The one feature that I believe needs improvement is the software patching. NinjaOne still lacks the ability to patch third-party software that is not already added to its list of managed applications. For those applications, we have to deploy Chocolatey, which is another third-party application that we use to patch third-party software not listed on NinjaOne's portal. The NinjaOne distribution server is highly dependent on an active directory. So for a cloud-only environment like ours, it's impossible to implement because we don't have a long-range server.
I wish that they integrated it with more antivirus solutions. Currently, they only push Defender, but it doesn't really have integration with SentinelOne. It also didn't integrate with Trend Micro, which we were using previously. I would also like to have more control from the mobile app. As of now, I am able to see some performance values, but I can't see, for example, disk activity or disk performance values. If they can improve their app a little bit, it would help greatly. They can also improve the tech interface. If I assign certain techs to a bunch of specific machines, they only get those alerts that they're assigned to.
It can have more integrations with third-party providers, such as Deep Instinct. They do partner with certain antivirus or remote access tool partners, but they can increase their portfolio to have more choices.

NinjaOne's pricing and user interface needs improvement.

The solution could improve by optimizing the internet connection being used. In a future release, there should be better mobile device management.
