I guess the key question is if we want to evaluate ABBYY as a product for our organization wide usage or if we are evaluating ABBYY for a specific use case.
If it is at for the entire organization, the key parameters would be
Extraction Accuracy and Completeness
Auto Classification
Auto Training
Template creation
Suite of products
Verification Station
Input and Export Channels
Ease of onboarding a new Supplier.
Ease of onboarding a new country
Ability to cross utilize the training across projects.
If you are looking at a specific use case, then it would be dependent on the project specific requirements.
I would rather prefer to look at the use case scenario in hand and see if it helps solve my problem statement. ABBYY is indeed very efficient with documents and highly scalable
An OCR engine that integrates with other intelligent document processing tools, or for documents which don't contain many different font types. ABBYY is a powerful and proven OCR for enterprise requirements.
