Hi community,
I'm looking for your advice on developing an intelligent automation solution.
Which is better: to produce an intelligent automation solution (from the ground up) or develop plugins for the big five (SAP, Oracle, IBM, Microsoft and Google)?
Thanks,
That depends.
You should take under consideration a few aspects: how much time/effort you need to spend on these solutions, are you in a hurry?
Do you have existing personnel that is fluent in one of these areas (RPA vs plugins)?
Or maybe do you have some partners you can trust in one of these areas? How permanent this solution will be?
There is automation that is sometimes made only to be replaced after creating a full-fledged solution inside the existing system.
Are there all necessary components available that are needed to create such a solution as a plugin and can they be connected?
These are just a few starting points that are coming to my mind.
@Paweł Wielgus Agreed, thank you for your comments. I was also wondering about the potental impact to licensing costs or plugins for the major software
Those companies are big names but they are by far from the leaders in business process automation. I couldn’t even name a product from this group.
Try OpenText,Inovoo, Kofax.
@Brian Grover Thanks Brian, I do see these as the upcoming players. The company HyperScience is an up and coming alternative in this area.
Hi @HimanshuTejwani @Ram Chenna @Viktor Dolyna @Nilesh Pawar @Celestine @Biswajit Mohanty,
Can you please suggest @Mary Anne Halligan your advice on whether producing an Intelligent automation solution is better than developing plugins for SAP, Oracle, IBM, Microsoft and Google?
Thanks!
