What is our primary use case?
We use the solution for stress-testing of some APIs and web applications.
How has it helped my organization?
It's too early to note how it's improved the company. The first test, already gave us a really quick answer. That was okay.
What is most valuable?
It's actually quite easy to set it up. You can change your upgrade plan at any time. The pricing is reasonable.
The support was also very good. They are great at helping you set it up.
Overall, it's user-friendly.
I like that you can also use different servers, which I used in Europe or in different contexts.
The reporting is okay. I can get notifications via email, which is nice. Everything is immediate and in real-time.
What needs improvement?
If I do the web application test, I want to bypass a login part. A lot of time you start the stress testing, and you sign the log in again, and I want to get rid of that. It's just not clear to me how to do it yet.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been using the solution for three months.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The solution is stable. I didn't encounter any issues regarding setting up a plan or running a plan. There are no bugs or glitches, and it doesn't crash or freeze.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The solution can scale.
Depending on your plan and the cost, it expands. That said, for the web server testing, there's a limit to the number of users you could add. For the API, you can do hundreds. However, for the web surfer test, it is limited to 100 or 250. I'm not sure yet.
Only our team is using the solution right now. There are two of us doing testing with it.
How are customer service and support?
We have found the technical support to be helpful and responsive.
They first helped us set up some scenarios and also on how to optimize or handle the costs involved. They said, "if you do this, it will be cheaper," or, "it is better to upgrade your plan after one month and then decrease your plan again." That was helpful. They know what they were talking about.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Using this solution is still an experiment for us. It is a new application. We wanted to do quick testing. This one was nice. Previously, we did some testing with RadView, however, at a certain point, costs were involved and were quite high.
We also did some work with BlazeMeter.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is easy, and if you need more help, they are there to assist.
It is just a matter of choosing a payment plan and then within five to ten minutes, you can start using it.
You only need one or two people to deploy the product.
What about the implementation team?
We handled the deployment ourselves, in-house.
What was our ROI?
We do get an ROI in terms of if it's a stress test that would've failed due to what we did, then it would've cost us money. It helps save us from that.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The pricing is good, and as a SaaS, you can change your tier as required. It's pay as you use. If you don't use it, you don't pay. That's a great benefit for us. You can buy plans that range from free to $500 a month. Then, if you want to simulate a stress test, you can see what a single one will cost. It really depends on how you use it. However, you do get everything in a bundle. They don't separate out features into different costs.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We tested BlazeMeter and RadView.
What other advice do I have?
We're using it as a SaaS. We are customers.
I'd advise users to try it out. It works well, and it is cheap.
I'd rate it an eight out of ten.
