The solution must allow the extension of the retention period. Depending on the use case, the retention period can hamper us. We understand the importance of the retention period when we compare it to the price we pay. The vendor must promote the solution more. They are doing some promotions. More marketing will help people to know about the product.

We use Wasabi to move local backups to the cloud. The Veeam appliance server backs up the data. We have a certain amount of specific assets that the data is uploaded to the cloud for safekeeping in case something happens to the site. If we had a disaster, we could recover that data into a new site…

We just need to create an account in Wasabi. Wasabi gives us an access link, username, and password. We provide this information to Veeam so that Veeam is able to reach Wasabi resources. Then, we can copy our backup data to Wasabi. It's very straightforward, and it's very easy. The deployment can be done within an hour. The user creation and Wasabi account login creation take about an hour. The final process takes about five minutes.
