Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The product is easy to learn.""The solution's most valuable feature is its flexibility to visualize certain logs.""The solution is very quick to turn around and integrate.""The ease with which it integrates with different data sources is most valuable. Especially when everything is on AWS, it is easy to connect to the data source and organize different dashboards.""From an analytics perspective, it's really good for self-service analytics.""I like that with Amazon QuickSight, you don't need to install an app to use its services. With other BI tools, you need to install the app, so Amazon QuickSight is better for me in this area.""The graph charts, pie charts, and box plots are valuable.""Compared to other reporting tools, it is very effective but does require an understanding of certain concepts in QuickSight. This understanding is crucial for creating dimensions, changing metrics, and visualizing reports."

"Allows us to execute heavy, complex computations on the fly so customers can slice and dice the data based on their business needs.""A very simple setup: Easy to download, install, and updates are pain free.""Ability to work with very large data sources without the limitations of Excel.""Allows users to build their own solutions without as much reliance on technology staff.""ElastiCube Manager is a very easy to use ETL tool, which includes the ability to easily transform raw data into reusable data.""Sisense has helped us gain knowledge about our customers, as well as highlighting data quality issues to correct.""Support is very responsive and clearly one of the strengths of Sisense. I have always received a fast response and the staff is very helpful.""Whenever we have an issue or are unsure how to proceed, they manage to simplify the issue and help us execute it in a graceful and scalable way."

Cons
"Amazon QuickSight has minimal features. The feature set can be improved to allow you to create good production-ready dashboards. This does not happen with QuickSite, it needs to mature to be used in production.""You can't tell a data story as well in QuickSight as you can on others, especially in TIBCO Spotfire.""The number of features in the product is limited in comparison with the other tools in the market, like Power BI.""It is a simple tool with limited features. Its visualization set is very limited, and it also has limited functionality. An intelligence tool should not be only for creating reports. Currently, we have to do all computational and mathematical operations outside. We should be able to do such operations in an intelligence tool like this. As an intelligence tool, it should support dynamic refresh. QuickSight currently supports the refresh at a minimum of one hour, and it is not suitable for dynamic dashboards that require frequent refreshes.""One area where Amazon QuickSight could improve is its formatting features for dashboards.""One area is that integrating data from different sources into QuickSight can be a bit tricky, especially with Amazon Connect. To get data flowing, you need to use two additional services and configure them correctly.""Amazon QuickSight's visualization could be improved.""I just want a few more features to be added."

"This solution does not have tabs. In order to have tabs, you have to download an add-on to mimic the tabs. They should be integrated to improve the solution.""I would love to have more customization capabilities for building dashboards, especially in creating custom widget sizes.""Larger datasets will sometimes give a "Accumulated logs" error when trying to make minor changes. T""The solution's setup process could be easier.""They should improve the filters to create downloaded data by moving them to the top of the dashboard.""At present there are additional costs involved if we wish to share our data queues within this solution, which we would like to see removed.""The initial version we purchased only ran on Windows servers, which was less than ideal for our DevOps team. I believe that has been remedied in the latest release.""I would like Sisense to improve its performance, particularly when we are dealing with large-scale data."
