Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Our bots have automated time consuming tasks and completely freed up one person to do real work.""The features like IQ Bot and Metabot have helped our organization to gain business trust and provide a greater number of unique solutions to our clients for complex projects.""I'd say there are new useful features that will definitely help us as we do more development in the near future.""The reporting capabilities are pretty nice.""The overall UI of the tool is so user-friendly that even a beginner can use it easily.""As for the stability of the product, we can use it in any use cases or to automate anything, like manufacturing or for the banking sector. We can automate all things. The stability is quite good. It is easy to use and user-friendly. You can automate whatever you do manually and day-to-day things work. We can automate repetitive tasks as well.""From an SAP point of view, we have in-built features. They have integrated everything together, so it's much easier for us to use that.""Since our implementation, I can vouch for the fact that it is very easy to use. You do not need to know a lot of coding, even the business users, who have virtually no idea of coding, can easily operate it. They can run their bots and have the analysis ready for higher management. This is something which provides a great ease of use, and also in part why it is scalable."

"The product's setup is straightforward.""The solution is user-friendly with a really good UI and ID.""The product's initial setup phase was easy.""My favorite feature is that you can have unlimited bots without having to buy more licenses. That's a powerful option for scalability.""ElectroNeek was extremely easy to use, especially its UI was easy to navigate with limited training.""We find the OCR feature very valuable, due to the corrector recognition that it provides; this is very useful for document processing.""The drag and drop feature, which is no code, is very useful for me because I am not a technical person. It is very user-friendly.""The cost is the best thing about ElectroNeek."

Cons
"For future prospects, this tool should 80 percent deal with neural networks, deep learning, and artificial intelligence and that has to be integrated a lot. As these are future skills, these integrations will help us take the tool to take to the next level.""Built-in HTML features are lagging in this solution, whereas in UiPath, they are very good.""We tried Citrix six months ago, but the solution that they gave us did not work in our environment.""The bot creation process is tedious. The solution has a lot of features, but since you have to drag down a lot of the commands, it can get tedious to use it. You end up having to use the mouse a lot more.""Another feature that would be cool to see in Automation Anywhere is more use of artificial intelligence. Right now, RPA is basically limited to a bot which is simply following the instructions that it was given. However, what would be really useful is if a bot was able to more flexibly respond to issues. For example, sometimes there are erroneous errors and pop ups. With good code, you can certainly build your bots to be able to handle that. However, it does take time and a bit of technical know-how to be able to do that.""The initial setup was a bit difficult and took more time than expected.""It is very difficult to create and automate timetables because they are modal, and it would be helpful if the bot could assist us with this.""AI would enable improved automation and faster training times that would be reduced from one month to one week."

More Automation Anywhere (AA) Cons →

"When I wanted to use web scraping for tables in web applications, I found through online forums that such functionality or activity is currently not working as it shows.""It's not applicable to very large enterprises and for difficult work or more complex processes.""ElectroNeek comes with three activities and we cannot add activities like we can with uiPADs.""The solution needs to improve its stability.""The pricing is an area with a shortcoming, and from an improvement perspective, it needs to be made cheaper.""I think that this solution could improve remote desktop interactions.""The solution works well with Google Chrome, but not with Microsoft Edge, which is the browser we use for automation.""Its price could definitely be lower."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Pricing is too high for small-scale groups. The Control Room yearly fee is high, making it difficult to break even."
  • "Automation Anywhere is competitive... Pega is somewhat comparable, but Pega also requires a lot more infrastructure and a lot more experience to get up and running."
  • "Automation Anywhere is costlier than the general competition. That is aligned with the share of the market it has."
  • "They're very flexible around pricing and licensing."
  • "They give us a good deal on the licensing because we bundle and customize things. If you ask to get a bulk business deal, you will receive more benefit. If you take other products from the suite, like IQ Bot, you can also receive a deal on the licensing."
  • "We just did a round of price comparison on a global scale and found it's so hard to compare the license prices. But, Automation Anywhere, in general, is on the same price level as the other vendors, a bit lower in some cases."
  • "If you look at the capital expenditure, Automation Anywhere is number two to UiPath. But if you take a long-term view, on a scalable model of a large number of bots coming out, it slowly goes on to become the costliest tool. There is something they can do about that. The capital expenditure goes out right at the point of buying the tool. For Automation Anywhere, I would need to spend $20,000. UiPath can give me something for $6,000, while Blue Prism will come in at $300,000."
  • "It's cheaper than other similar solutions."
  • More Automation Anywhere (AA) Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "It's very affordable and the licensing is billed on a yearly basis."
  • "Its price could definitely be lower. Its licensing is on a yearly basis. There is no additional cost to the standard licensing fees."
  • "I believe we had a Silver Membership or something similar annually."
  • "I give the price an eight out of ten."
  • "On a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate the pricing a seven."
  • "My company has made a payment towards the purchase of a license from ElectorNeek."
