Provides telemetry, risk assessment, and behavior monitoring
I like the risk assessment tool built into Bitdefender GravityZone EDR because I'm really into risk assessments and vulnerability testing. I think that is crucial and needed, and I don't see that often with most EDRs. The telemetry I get from the tool can be used in a SOC I use. The solution has behavior monitoring that allows you to monitor people's specific behaviour and practices. You can then ask the person to stop or start doing something. You can also do application management and access management. You can do many things within Bitdefender GravityZone EDR because it is like a one-stop shop scenario.

Easy to deploy, good price, low overhead, and keeps our Servers and PC's free of virus'
We use it for on both production server and end user desktops. About 120 desktops and 180 servers. We keep it updated to the latest version and deploy it to both public cloud and on-premises systems It has improved the way our organization functions. It made things run faster in our company, and…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I haven't had a problem with its stability yet. Since we deployed it, we haven't had one computer instance where we had to reimage the computer due to the virus."
"The most valuable feature for me is the ability to whitelist, blacklist, and be very granular as to what I blocked, what apps I blocked, and what websites I block. I think that's probably the most valuable feature."
"It is easy to scale and it is suitable for organizations from small businesses to enterprise."
"I like that you can manage all the time and you can uninstall and install everything via the web console."
"The setup was easy."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"GravityZone can be controlled from the cloud."
"Great protection against malware, ransomware, and any other forms of malicious software."
"In general, it was pretty easy to manage."
"It has low overhead as far as machine resources are concerned. Everything runs faster with VIPRE installed versus some of the competitors. It has also been pretty easy to use. It just runs and gives us reports. It also sends us alerts when there is something that we need to look at. It does its job, and you just look at the reports. In other ways, you just forget that it is there."

Cons

"The outreach from support was a bit bad according to their plan, but we've got two people here that manage and support GravityZone and interact with them and they manage it very well."
"The cryptosystem could be improved a bit."
"While the solution is secure, it could have better integration."
"The only problem we have, and I don't know if maybe it's the package we bought, is that it lacks the parts of data protection and application blacklisting."
"The solution wasn't designed to be used in France."
"The reporting is much too simple."
"They were working on the encryption management for laptops, and if they complete it then it would be helpful."
"The product can be improved by identifying errors."
"We would get a lot of false positives and instead of them fixing the false positive, they would just want us to put in an exception, which I didn't care for."
"Their management interface is a little buggy. It requires a few system resources on the management interface. Its reporting can also be better. Overall, the reports are pretty good. They patch some third-party software, but if they can expand what they do for reporting and patch enterprise software, it would be handy."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"If you look at the solution's price point, it's actually low market value, especially in comparison to other ones."
"As I am on a different model, my clients pay me on a monthly basis."
"There is a fully functional trial that we used and we didn't have any issues."
"Bitdefender GravityZone EDR is cheaper than Kaspersky. There are no additional costs apart from licensing ones."
"It has a suitable price for every company and organization."
"The product has a reasonable price."
"It is not that expensive. Compared to its competitors, it is well-priced and well-placed."
"Bitdefender GravityZone EDR is cost-effective and has the best pricing."
"Its price point has been phenomenal. Our previous solution from Trend Micro was triple the cost of it."
