"The solution is easy to use and its stable."
"There are a lot of valuable features and functions. One example is CleanAir to detect and troubleshoot interference issues. Another is RX-SOP to optimize roaming."
"The initial setup was quite easy. We have a very good relationship with our integrator and our integrator has a good relationship with Cisco. The integrator that installs Cisco is quite knowledgeable about the technology. They are trained and have a good relationship with their tech. We cannot be experts in each domain and we have to be supported by an integrator."
"Cisco is one of the leading brands, particularly in the commercial sector. Other brands such as Extreme, cater to different categories at lower levels. Cisco maintains a comprehensive product range across all levels and excels in comparison to other networking sites. They also boast a team of highly qualified professionals, a feature that sets them apart from competitors like Netgear, which lacks such expertise."
"All the features of the solution are good. The enterprise environment seamlessly integrates with Cisco Wireless. I have contacted customer service and support about licenses and other technical aspects. I have not faced any issues. The solution is good for our environment."
"The product is compatible with a lot of mobile devices."
"There weren't any scalability issues, the product did what it had to do."
"It prevents a large number of unauthorized modifications of access point devices."
"The Artificial Intelligence on offer is very useful."
"The installation process is nice and easy."
"The installation process is very easy."
"Juniper WLC Series is a very high-performance device designed for indoor wireless deployment."
"It's easy to set up, and I feel it's very secure. I also prefer its reporting feature. The devices are quite good."
"There is room for improvement in terms of support and installation."
"It would be helpful to have even stronger security features to help protect against interference from other nearby access points that aren't part of our network."
"The product should include adaptive Wi-Fi to show a more accurate location."
"Juniper Mist Wireless Access Points’ support services need improvement."
"If you want to do more specific stuff, it's a bit limited."
"The solution is expensive."
"Improving third-party integration is key for Juniper Mist's next release."
"I need a bit more time with it before criticizing the features."
"There is no technology without room for improvement. The main setback with Cisco solutions, not only with Cisco Wireless, is having to update the OS manually. We are now migrating to Miraki, so we've been able to work that out."
"The biggest reason why we could no longer continue with Cisco Wireless was because of the high cost to upgrade everything. It was disappointing that Cisco treated us as just another big company, and did not offer any leeway on their pricing given that we are an educational institute. And although the system we had in place from Cisco Wireless was good enough over the last ten years, it started to show its age when pushed to its limit during the pandemic."
"Requires a firewall body to improve security."
"Its licensing has been very frustrating. There is also the complexity of managing the product. These are probably the two reasons why we're looking at Aruba. The way they license this product is not simple. There are some good features in the latest version, but there are additional license costs as well, which is frustrating for us. It is not really a feature issue for us. It really comes down to cost and licensing. They should make it a bit simpler to manage. We find the overall solution a little bit more complex than we would like to deal with. Its troubleshooting is a bit difficult, and it does require a high skill set. Comparatively, Aruba seems quite simple. One of the benefits of the Aruba product is that it is cloud-managed. We don't have to manage the management platform itself, whereas Cisco is on-premise. Its user interface could also be better."
"In the future, I would like to have Cisco add video documentation on configuring and overall learning of how to use the solutions. For example, in such areas as, security, authentication, and load balancing."
"There's a delay in equipment that comes to Columbia, to our country, and that lasts almost six months."
"The internet speed is high within environments. As you move further away from the access point, there is a decline in speed. Omada or Ruckus don’t have the speed degradation as you move away from the access point."
"When you integrate a network access control with authentication with an ISE engine it's really complicated to put in place."
"The support on offer to other vendors switching - like Aruba or Ruckus - could be improved."
"There could be a high level of security."
"The solution should create configuration documentation."
"The biggest issue was that Juniper stopped developing, so we had to look for another solution."
"The solution could offer more integration with other products."
"There could be more information from the controller, and it could be easier to work with the controller lights. It's not easy to bring up the upgrades."
"We would prefer it if the solution could be less expensive."
