Responsive, integrates well with other applications, and the technical support is helpful
There is always room for improvement. I haven't had any problems, and they're doing a great job, in my opinion. They're doing quite well. In most cases, when we discover an issue, we report it to their engineers, who then schedule a fix. Normally, when we request something, I can see it happening within three to four months. This is a raw system. Of course, it has some flaws that could be improved. But, it's something that we will have to work with to get to the point where we need this, we request it and they do their best to make it happen. There is a lot of integration with other applications through Automate, and I believe they are working with all of the industry leaders to get the integration going. I am very pleased to be working with them.

Helps reduce response time but has room to improve customization complexity
We are not working on simple standalone solutions like Kaspersky DDoS Protection or Hybrid Cloud Security. Once you understand Zabbix, then it is easy to customize those web pages and graphs for our customer use. It is fully automated to your requirements. Zabbix is working fine with no issues, and I am satisfied with it. We have combined Zabbix and SolarWinds. The integration works fine, and it is easy to integrate Zabbix with the IT environment. We were trying to purchase MDR (Managed Detection and Response), but we are not working on that. I don't have real experience with MDR. We are using Falcon software for that. We are working with Falcon Complete, not with Sandbox. We are not using Kaspersky for business or cloud protection. For that, we are using Zabbix CrowdStrike Falcon Complete solution. I have given this review an overall rating of 8.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution is very stable; it's reliable, there are no bugs and glitches, and it doesn't crash or freeze."
"It allows us to manage all client requests, jobs and invoicing."
"A good automated scripts feature."
"One of the greatest benefits of LabTech is less client downtime, because LabTech lets you proactively monitor and fix issues before they interrupt your clients’ business, so you can virtually eliminate system outages."
"It allows us to manage all client requests, jobs and invoicing."
"Because of the system's capabilities, my team is able to significantly reduce the work that they were previously doing, more than 40%, in my opinion."
"We use monitors to keep track of our machines. We use a pretty good portion of information from Automate."
"The automated scripts feature means that we can set up for a lot of different things and they have reduced tech input drastically, in the sense that a task only needs to be done once instead of 100 times."
"We purchased Zabbix for a good price, including support; it's cheaper than Datadog and ScienceLogic."
"If you are a new user it is very simple, you do not need to be highly technical to use it."
"It's a very reliable platform and we've never had any issues regarding the scalability or the stability of Zabbix."
"The most valuable feature is the support for monitoring Cisco switches."
"The integration with third-party tools and the alerts are most valuable."
"This resulted in a Operations team with lower levels of stress, more time to work on important projects and client satisfaction by lowering the number of problems visible by the client."
"Overall, I think that Zabbix is an awesome tool and I would use it again, rather than another one."
"The solution allows you to configure and customize how you want to collect information from servers or other systems."

Cons

"Patching and reporting need improvements, especially reporting. The reporting engine is quite outdated, so you end up having to use your own dashboard."
"This is a raw system. Of course, it has some flaws that could be improved. But, it's something that we will have to work with to get to the point where we need this, we request it and they do their best to make it happen."
"The wait time for a support ticket to be addressed needs to be reduced. They take a couple of days to get back."
"The solution needs to improve Event ID monitoring big time. They're behind the game on the other RMMs, and we support multiple RMMs."
"There could be better linkages between ConnectWise Automate and Manage from a ticketing perspective."
"This is a raw system. Of course, it has some flaws that could be improved."
"The menu doesn't always load properly."
"Reliability: Open a computer window new screen and it's slow."
"The integration of the product is not so easy, especially when it comes to the application database."
"If anything could be improved, it would be some of the terminology that is used in the documentation."
"I would like to remotely connect to the computer, and Zabbix doesn't have this capability."
"The user web interface is a little bit too basic, we need to link Zabbix to Grafana to have more options, such as graphs and charts. The interface needs to be improved. Additionally, there could be better integration with Grafana API."
"In the next release, I'm hoping for features targeted towards larger users with more customizable options. Despite this, I think pre-canned reports that can be used straight out of the box would be beneficial rather than having to configure each report individually. Additionally, a deeper dive into software configurations on the machines would be useful, although I understand there may be challenges in implementing this due to scripting requirements. More documentation would also be appreciated."
"The dashboard and the graph section could be a little bit more professional."
"The process is easy and straightforward, but the product itself is not easy to use."
"It becomes complex when we are growing and need to add proxies. We need more scalability features and documentation for different use cases."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I believe Automate is available for around $2."
"Pricing and licensing are reasonable."
"I pay $85 a month per user for a ConnectWise package that contains multiple solutions."
"From what I've overheard, it is pretty comparable to other solutions in terms of price."
"I use the tool's free version."
"There are no licenses."
"There is a license required for this solution and we pay annually for our license."
"I was using the free, Community Edition."
"Zabbix and Grafana are both open source products, we only needed to go to their website and download the application and we began to use them. The solutions are free."
"We purchased Zabbix for a good price, including support"
"If you have 20,000 hosts, the support costs around €95,000 for a year."
"There is no license but we need to pay for support."

Nagios vs. Zabbix vs. PRTG vs. Spiceworks vs. Solarwinds Network Performance Monitor
I have researched a quite a few network monitoring tools which can be used for various monitoring purposes of not only the servers, but the intermediate routers as well. There are majorly three types of these softwares. Ones which are completely open-source, you can do almost anything you want…
