Easy to set up with good security and rapidly improving capabilities
In terms of stability, the performance parameters do come into play. It's good on the regular office front, however, on the development side, if somebody is using it in a development environment, they need to make some configuration changes in terms of what directories should be excluded from the real-time scanning. I had to do that kind of stuff. I don't do that with the Microsoft product, for example. It runs, and it scans the entire system with no issues. The solution is stable. Regular updates were available in the product versions. They were updated, and they gave regular signature updates also so that the product checked all the boxes.

Efficiently blocks unwanted websites from laptops but also blocks information from the websites
One problem I'm facing with K7 is that if it blacklists a website that I need, I have to ask my admin guy to unblock it. When we whitelist it, I have to manually update my policies on my laptop for the change to take effect. I want it to reflect automatically when something is done from the admin side. I shouldn't have to update K7 case and policy settings manually.

"The solution's features and pricing are pretty good."
"It rarely gets in the way, and we don't even notice it scanning."
"Technical support has been very good. They're quick to respond to any problems."
"I like the integration; it lets you see the product installed on a particular computer."
"I like everything about ESET Endpoint Security, and as an installer, it's very easy to install the solution, but the most important feature is that it helps defend against any virus. When the virus comes, ESET Endpoint Security stops it."
"I find the main valuable feature to be the antivirus, it is very effective with removing viruses."
"There are some great features in ESET Endpoint Antivirus when you are browsing on the internet. For example, they have a notification if within your LAN network something is suspected to be a threat. Additionally, the malware features are very good."
"It has its own model to decide whether a website is trusted or not."

Cons

"While we see dangers within our security system, it would help if there were popups that could immediately alert us or the user of the endpoint that something was detected."
"They can improve ransomware protection, and there should be cloud sandboxing for Mac."
"High-end hardware requirements across workstations"
"There are other features you can add on to help make the security stronger, however, they should offer better security even on a basic level."
"The product’s AI implementation feature could be better for learning user behavior."
"Everything has some kind of room for improvement."
"There are no areas for improvement. It does everything the consumer needs."
"The initial setup of ESET Endpoint Security was not complex because we have five years of experience. However, it is not as easy if we did not have the experience."
"But blocking websites also means blocking information."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is just under $20 a user per year, and there are no additional costs. I would rate it a five out of five in terms of pricing."
