Easy to set up with good security and rapidly improving capabilities
In terms of stability, the performance parameters do come into play. It's good on the regular office front, however, on the development side, if somebody is using it in a development environment, they need to make some configuration changes in terms of what directories should be excluded from the real-time scanning. I had to do that kind of stuff. I don't do that with the Microsoft product, for example. It runs, and it scans the entire system with no issues. The solution is stable. Regular updates were available in the product versions. They were updated, and they gave regular signature updates also so that the product checked all the boxes.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I like everything about ESET Endpoint Security, and as an installer, it's very easy to install the solution, but the most important feature is that it helps defend against any virus. When the virus comes, ESET Endpoint Security stops it."
"Technical support has been very good. They are helpful and responsive."
"The solution's features and pricing are pretty good."
"Easy to use security solution, helps to secure connected devices against viruses in the digital world."
"The solution is easy to install and configure."
"The most valuable features of this solution are, of course, the IPS/IDS, Intrusion Prevention, Intrusion Detection, and Antivirus."
"This is a product at the top of its game. That is the reason we choose to support and sell it."
"The solution is very lightweight and does not consume that much processor in terms of CPU utilization. The centralized management system is very good."
"The setup process was easy for our remote clients and us as well."
"Endpoint Security's best features are inventory, asset management, and quick scanning."
"I like Seqrite's web protection features and external device control."
"The most valuable features of the solution are DLP, XDR, and EDR functionalities."
"The convenience has been great."
"The two valuable features are anti-ransomware and data loss protection."
"The update process and policy control are good."
"The solution's current features include antivirus, web filtering, file activity monitoring, PAM, firewall, IDS/IPS, and DLP. Though I'm not familiar with the whole solution, it is good."

Cons

"Online security could still be improved in ESET Endpoint Antivirus because security is threatened by phishing."
"The tool needs to explore security possibilities to secure iOS and Mac devices."
"ESET Endpoint Security should offer more integration with multi-attack frameworks."
"While we see dangers within our security system, it would help if there were popups that could immediately alert us or the user of the endpoint that something was detected."
"ESET's updates are mostly manual. That's my biggest concern. I'd like it to be more automatic. I've had to download the new version and run it manually to install it. I've got several workstations like that right now."
"ESET Endpoint Antivirus can improve by having better EDR intelligence and automation. The EDR still needs lots of human interpretation. It can be better if add more intelligence to the EDR part of the endpoint protection."
"The solution should offer more security surrounding blacklisted websites."
"It seems to have some issues with updates. When you do updates, it sometimes requests for a reboot, and even when you do the reboot, it still says that you need to reboot. Currently, on my computer, it says that a new ESET Endpoint Antivirus has been installed, and I need to restart the computer for the changes to take effect, but I've already done that, and the same message is still there, which is a little annoying. It should have a feature similar to the Intercept X feature in Sophos."
"We would like the solution to have integration with other security solutions so that we can have a single base for monitoring all the security incidents and concerns."
"The interface is slow."
"When we fire any employee connected remotely over the internet, we need a security feature that blocks the system and the device."
"The pricing could be a bit lower."
"The support offered by the tool is an area of concern where improvements are required."
"Deployment of Seqrite Endpoint Security is generally straightforward. The only complexity we encounter is that, since it is cloud-based, there can be delays in updating the endpoint's status."
"We are using Apple devices, and the advanced device control service doesn't work for M1 chips devices, like Apple MacBooks."
"When it comes to the support provided by the product, I see that Seqrite is not as mature as the other products in the market."
