Used for endpoint security, ransomware protection, virus protection, and server security
Intercept X Endpoint is deployed on the cloud in our organization. Previously, we had two ransomware attacks when we were using Kaspersky as an endpoint security. We didn't face any ransomware attacks after using Intercept X Endpoint for endpoint security. Intercept X Endpoint has simplified our malware detection. Since we have already implemented the policies in the cloud, all the malware is automatically detected. The solution also detects and removes new malware that can also come from the cloud AI engine. Integrating Intercept X Endpoint with our current security infrastructure was very easy. In my opinion, Sophos is a better solution because we are using Sophos endpoint security and network security. These two things sync with each other and monitor the packets and network traffic. No other vendor has simultaneous devices to check everything. I would recommend the solution to other users. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

"It is a stable solution. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"The forensics within the solution are quite good. The ransomware mitigation is also impressive."
"It is very easy to set up and easy to use. It is also not resource-intensive."
"The Managed Detection and Response service provided by Intercept X Endpoint is highly valuable. With a team of 600-700 individuals monitoring systems, they swiftly respond to attacks, either informing us to isolate or directly removing threats. This full MDR service is especially recommended for sectors like finance, where data security is critical. The deep learning technology within Intercept X Endpoint enhances our security posture by analyzing behaviors and algorithms to differentiate between legitimate users and threats, effectively preventing attacks on our network infrastructure."
"The solution protects us."
"The most effective features of Intercept X Endpoint for threat prevention are ransomware protection, miscellaneous behavior detection, and network threat protection."
"The solution effectively detects malicious files and blocks sign-ins."
"The product's initial setup phase is easy."
"There are many features available in this solution, such as asset management."
"The setup process was easy for our remote clients and us as well."
"The most valuable features of the solution are DLP, XDR, and EDR functionalities."
"The two valuable features are anti-ransomware and data loss protection."
"Seqrite Endpoint Security is a good solution."
"Seqrite Endpoint Security provides external protection in terms of hard drives."

Cons

"It would be beneficial if you could expand support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 without charging an additional fee."
"I would like to see better support for virtual and desktop infrastructures."
"I am not very satisfied with the product's reporting overall, and it needs improvement in this area."
"The solution is heavy in the usage of resources, you can notice the performance decrease. This should prove in the future."
"Needs more flexible reporting, particularly for medium to large size companies."
"It should offer better security updates."
"The initial setup can be difficult if you don't come in with at least some knowledge about the product."
"We've had difficulty with uninstalling the solution. When we try to uninstall an old version of the basic Sophos Antivirus, it doesn't seem to uninstall completely."
"When it comes to the support provided by the product, I see that Seqrite is not as mature as the other products in the market."
"I don't feel that the scalability part of Seqrite Endpoint Security is better than the other products in the market."
"In the next version, they should improve the areas of utility and centralized control."
"We are using Apple devices, and the advanced device control service doesn't work for M1 chips devices, like Apple MacBooks."
"The cost of the solution can be improved."
"It should be able to detect and report any ransomware attack but currently, it doesn't detect and it doesn't report any."
"Endpoint Security would be improved by adding DLP."
"Sometimes, small and medium businesses, or even startups with just five, ten, or fifteen systems, are also keen to secure their data. There is a reluctance on the part of the technical team to extend installation support when the opportunity sizes are smaller. Seqrite Endpoint Security has a lot of value. Still, its marketing could be done much better on a larger scale, especially in India, in light of the new DPDP 2023 Act, which the Indian Parliament passed. It would be even more valuable if Seqrite could incorporate features to help companies comply with this law, it would be even more helpful."

"When you start going to the EDR technologies and the MTR, it is a little bit expensive. It's a very good technology, and obviously, you're going to pay for it, but the pricing could do a little bit of work."
"Customers need to pay for a license for Intercept X Endpoint based on the number of users and servers they have. The pricing is considered normal and not overly expensive."
"It is a high-cost solution."
"As per the suggestions from one of the experts we know, it is advisable to make a proper comparison with the local vendors instead of solely relying on online prices, which are often higher and quite expensive."
"The solution has reasonable pricing. There is one pricing without any hidden charges. They have to pay once a year or three years."
"The license isn't expensive."
"The licensing fee is 200 Bangladeshi Taka per client per year."
"I give the cost of the solution a seven out of ten."
