Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The feature I found most valuable in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services is the mapping. You just drag, and it maps the data. Mapping is very easy, and it's no code. When you migrate data or when the data interaction happens at the source and destination, the challenge is that you'll get different formats. The validation has to be done in the middleware, and the transformation should happen. In Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, it's very easy to do data validation and transformation compared to any other tool.""The data integration and synchronization features in IICS improve the data handling processes.""This solution allows you to easily access and make use of information that you have in your on-premises environment.""I rate the solution's scalability a ten out of ten."

"I would rate my experience with the initial setup a nine out of ten, with ten being easy to set up.""The solution's most valuable feature is the no-code/low-code feature.""The tool’s biggest benefit is the access we have to other Azure products.""If we are working with a service-oriented architecture, as an architect as a baseline, it supports us very well in terms of expandability, and the kind of robustness it brings, especially with its serverless nature is fabulous.""If there's something that isn't possible, you can write some code and call that code from a Logic App.""The prebuilt connectors available for SAP are really useful.""One special aspect of Azure Logic Apps is its easy integration of various applications, especially when connectors are already available. For instance, there are connectors for database applications and systems like SAP. You can drag and drop the connectors to complete your integration quickly.""We can write external features and transfer the data using JPIMs securely which has been most valuable."

Cons
"This service could be more cost-effective.""There's definitely room for improvement in terms of user-friendliness. One example is that you can't search for jobs directly by file name. You can only search by job name. So, if you want to find a job that works with a specific file, you have to go through each job individually to find the right one. So, I'd like to see a faster search, one where I can search directly by file name.""Synchronicity is an area for improvement in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services. For example, when you want real-time or immediate response from the solution when multiple technologies are involved, the integration with Informatica Intelligent Cloud isn't seamless, whether it's the MQ, JMS, or BES service, so the connectivity should be improved a bit. The data governance is good, but what's lacking is a demo. For example, if there's a new feature in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, the documentation for that new feature is limited, so if Informatica could give a more complete documentation and more demos, that would be better for the users. Right now, there isn't any issue with any of the features of the solution. It's the new feature awareness or user training, and improved connectivity that I'd like to see in the next version of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services.""The product's pricing is definitely an area where a bit of improvement is needed."

More Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services Cons →

"The solution should include more connectors.""Microsoft Azure Logic Apps could have more customization options for connectors.""Standard documents are fine, but in certain situations, when facing specific errors or issues, partners or consumers expect customized solutions rather than just links to existing documents.""A room for improvement in Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is that it's expensive. Every step is going to cost you money, so if someone is not doing the steps carefully, at the end of the day, it will cost a lot of money. Each time you execute a step, the cost will depend on how much you use Microsoft Azure Logic Apps, and how many workflow steps you have. Each time a step needs to be executed, there'll be a cost added to your bill. If the developer isn't careful with how he uses the solution, this can blow up the cost. What I'd like to see in the next release of Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is for the cost and security to be better.""The product needs improvement in getting direct access to the code and versioning.""The scalability could be improved.""The only thing is, sometimes, when we need a specific connector, it requires an enterprise or paid version. If it were possible to provide the most commonly used connectors for pulling data from different sources free of cost, that would be really nice.""I find the current interface useful, but I could see how others would want the UI bits that are used for creating Logic Apps to be simplified."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The pricing model is something that can be improved."
  • "In terms of the licensing for Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, we had the option of paying based on the number of users and paying based on the volume of data, and we went with the data volume licensing option. Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services isn't as expensive as CIG. The pricing for it is okay, so I'm rating it a four out of five in terms of pricing. We did use the email verification and address validation services which weren't part of the contract, so we had to pay additional fees for those services."
  • "The solution is expensive."

  • "The cost of the solution could be cheaper."
  • "If we are comparing to other public cloud vendors, such as Amazon or Google Cloud platform, I wouldn't say that it's expensive. However, when we're comparing between a host such as GoDaddy or Digital Ocean, then it's a bit on the expensive side."
  • "It's very cheap, but it comes with pluses and minuses. The positive thing is that it's very cheap, but on the other hand, it's extremely hard to tell how much it will cost. At the start of the project, it's almost impossible to tell how many times you will be calling some kind of Logic App function. You cannot state how much of the internet transfer you will use or how much data your will use."
  • "The price of Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is inexpensive."
  • "Microsoft Azure Logic Apps could be costly if a user isn't careful. The costs associated with the solution could still be improved."
  • "The product is not cheap. I would rate the product's pricing a five out of ten."
  • "The pricing is not expensive."
  • "The pricing is okay. It's not highly priced. It's in the medium range."
