Stable, easy to set up, flexible, and has multiple functionalities, but needs to define priority levels for each incident
What's lacking in Loom Systems is the level of priority for each incident. For example, after implementation and there was a huge impact on the client, and the client comes back to you and says that there's an incident, that there needs to be an immediate resolution for it, you'll see severity one, severity two, etc., in Loom Systems, rather than priority levels. It would be better if the incidents can be defined as low priority, medium priority, or high priority.

Is easy to use, provides great visibility, and reduces our resolution time
Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring is easy to use. It helps us quickly analyze how our infrastructure is performing across various services. It helps with proper log management, allowing us to monitor our systems and analyze log data regularly. It also provides security operations capabilities for monitoring system health and ensuring uptime. We noticed these benefits immediately. Our operational efficiency has been increased. It has improved our system health by monitoring the performance of data on servers, virtual machines, and containers, along with overall background processes. Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring provides end-to-end visibility into our cloud-native environment. This is crucial because any data corruption can impact all the information we've deployed. It also aids in log management, offering parameters that extend its functionality as a comprehensive monitoring tool for CPU, memory usage, and network traffic. It has helped reduce our mean time to detect by four hours. Our mean time to resolution has been reduced by two hours. By providing access to all our network parameters, it simplifies log ingestion through streamlined calculations. Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring provides us with faster and more comprehensive insights into our infrastructure, allowing us to focus on critical business initiatives. We saw the time to value immediately after deploying Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring.

Pros

"The RFS portion of the solution is the product's most valuable feature."
"What I like best about Loom Systems is that you can use it for infrastructure monitoring. I also like that it's a flexible solution."
"The solution is absolutely scalable. If an organization needs to expand it out they definitely can."
"You can develop your own apps within Loom, and they can be configured very simply."
"The solution monitors attacks or unauthorized access to the information we want to protect."
"We haven't really experienced any glitches or bugs."
"I have primarily used it to go back into the past and understand why something happened. It provides enough information to do research and figure things out."
"I find the monitoring console very helpful. With one click, I can see how we are performing, and at the same time, I can see what data is flowing."
"It's a very easy-to-use solution."
"It can monitor, get the data, and then report on the data."
"It is very easy to monitor multiple cloud environments. It's like a single pane of glass for us. We can use it to monitor our on-prem and both of our cloud environments as opposed to having different tools for each environment. It makes it all come together in one tool."
"The solution's most valuable aspect is its ability to get information about all of the security measurements in my environment."

Cons

"The reporting is a bit weak. They should work to improve this aspect of the product."
"The discovery and mapping still takes a lot of human intervention, it's quite resource heavy,"
"What's lacking in Loom Systems is the level of priority for each incident. For example, after implementation and there was a huge impact on the client, and the client comes back to you and says that there's an incident, that there needs to be an immediate resolution for it, you'll see severity one, severity two, etc., in Loom Systems, rather than priority levels. It would be better if the incidents can be defined as low priority, medium priority, or high priority."
"The change management within the solution needs to be improved. There needs to be more process automation."
"We still use Splunk Enterprise licensing. A lot of the newer features go into Splunk Cloud before Enterprise. We're not looking to switch our licensing over, so we're falling behind on the newer features."
"The security could be better."
"The solution's machine learning deployment is hard and should be made user-friendly."
"Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring's data analytics can be improved by including suggestions for various types of continuous monitoring."
"The clustering part of indexes can be more refined."

"The price has room for improvement."
"A wide variety of logging makes log onboarding difficult."
