Has enabled seamless integration across platforms while supporting advanced analytics for customer insights
Microsoft Dynamics CRM doesn't provide solutions that allow you to transform easily if you have a heterogeneous mix of technologies or if your contact center is on analog and you try to digitize it. A lot of custom work is needed if you have to integrate heterogeneous technologies with the Microsoft suite, but if you are using the Microsoft suite, then it's quite seamless. Microsoft Dynamics CRM should add commercial models that allow smaller companies to use it because it can get pretty expensive. Better commercial options for smaller implementations may be helpful. There should be commercial options for smaller companies, as the overheads and costs of Dynamics can be quite high.

Streamlines collaboration across teams and has a straightforward setup process
The platform initiates a series of processes to complete the sale, which may involve ordering equipment, providing services, and tracking necessary activities. The feature that has been most effective in improving sales performance is its alignment with the ordering team. Compared to my experience working with HubSpot, which excelled in presales and marketing but lacked integration with ERP and post-sales processes, NetSuite CRM+ stands out for its ability to streamline collaboration and information sharing across teams. It facilitates post-sales engagement by effectively providing visibility into the bill of materials and assigning responsibilities. The platform is not highly customizable like Salesforce. However, it offers sufficient flexibility for our requirements. I can easily create different views and reports and add widgets to my home screen as needed. I rate it an eight out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Since we started using this platform, we have been able to ensure all communications trials with our customers are documented."
"For the price of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, you receive a lot of comprehensive functionality."
"The management and ability to process leads are the solution's most useful features; it makes it easy to maintain accounts and keep them up to date and relevant, the interface is very good and makes the product easy to use, the price is pretty decent, the initial setup is pretty straightforward, the sales cycle is great, everything is at the tip of my fingers, I have good visibility due to the excellent reporting, and the dashboard is great and lets me click anywhere and see anything."
"This is a scalable solution."
"It ensures that there's continuity, and you don't have to start asking the customer about what happened. From CRM, you can easily see all the interactions and events in the record and take it from there."
"The most valuable feature of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is its integration with Outlook and other Microsoft products like Microsoft 365, which includes emails, Teams, and SharePoint."
"The way it effectively works with the array of other Microsoft tools, such as Azure, is valuable. It works very well with the use of data linking and things like that. Overall, it is a great overall tool to have an effective understanding of the transactional background of each of our customers."
"One of the most useful features is we can configure Microsoft Dynamics CRM in the way that we need. This is configurable."
"The feature that has been most effective in improving sales performance is its alignment with the ordering team."
"Very scalable solution that provides customer relationship management, sales, and marketing functions. It's very straightforward to set up, and it supports multi-subsidiary organizations."
"NetSuite CRM+ helps us provide customer support and track schedules for field service."
"The fact that you have all your products with NetSuite CRM+, and you have the ability to add those from the beginning of a lead to a quote to an opportunity, means the whole process flows well compared to using other CRMs in the market."
"We use the product for standard CRM functions like email marketing, account management, scheduling customer profiles, and marketing materials, and for integration with the Suite Commerce."

Cons

"Chunky, UI isn't great, requires a lot of customization - so cost of ownership is high, feels like Salesforce is probably a better overall bet."
"The tool should be micro-services-based. If it's not already implemented, the architecture could be enhanced by transitioning to a microservices-based model. This would allow each module to be managed independently, reducing downtime and enabling teams to work autonomously on specific services."
"Dynamic's management could be improved. The tech management should have better technical capabilities."
"The solution could improve by having better integration documentation."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM could improve by making the ports and dashboards more intuitive using Microsoft Azure analytical features. Compared to Salesforce and other partners, the dashboards in Microsoft Dynamics CRM are less intuitive."
"Many customers feel the overheads of cost and ROI are not present, prompting them to consider migrating out of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or minimizing their footprint to manage costs effectively, especially in sectors such as banking and airline."
"Overall, the solution could be made to be more user friendly."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM could improve by being more user-friendly and having a better design. I have used Service Desk and it is not user-friendly but this solution is worse. The graphical interface is not intuitive, you need someone to guide you or you will have difficulties navigating around to find the file you need. The data we are normally dealing with is boring enough and the interface could be more attractive and more exciting. The tabs and arrangement could be done better to be more user-friendly. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are fine and Microsoft should extend their user-friendliness and intuitiveness to Microsoft Dynamics."
"NetSuite's field service automation should be updated. We should be able to fully automate the assignment of service orders to technicians."
"What could be improved in NetSuite CRM+ is its UI, because it's ugly. When you compare it to the Salesforce UI, the UI in Salesforce, particularly its reporting, looks better."
"The product needs to improve the warehouse management feature."
"The product or service could be improved by incorporating AI functionality to provide intuitive assistance."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"On a scale from one to ten with one being expensive and ten being of great value, I would rate Microsoft Dynamics CRM at six on pricing."
"We have to buy a separate license in order to implement the social listening feature."
"The price of the solution is good but could be cheaper."
"We have a three-year ELA with all our Microsoft solutions and often we had to do a true-up which was approximately $1,000,000. Additionally, we pay approximately $2,500 a month for support."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM is slightly cheaper than Salesforce today. Pricing for the solution is pretty aggressive in the market."
"The customers that have Microsoft Office 365, the license price is competitive. It is competitive because the next solution above it is Salesforce, which is licensed quite high. The price annually was approximately $55 per user but we did a combination of users with some of them having the higher range of approximately $85."
"For the price of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, you receive a lot of comprehensive functionality. Additionally, it integrates very well. We pay approximately $100 a month to use the solution and we do not have any additional costs."
"It is a very comprehensive package. We get everything from Access to D 365. We get Microsoft's suite of tools. I'm not too sure about the pricing, but I can't imagine it being cheap."
"Compared to other tools, you have to pay for the NetSuite CRM+ module itself. You will pay a recurring fee regardless of how many users you have, then you will pay a fee per user, per month. Its cost is not a licensing cost per user, but a module cost and a user cost."
"It ultimately depends on the features and functionalities required for your specific use case."
