Weekly insights and risk analysis facilitate informed security decisions
I appreciate the weekly insights Zafran provides, which include critical topics for networks and IT security, allowing us to evaluate which insights apply to our environment. The organization score feature is valuable to keep the leadership team updated on how our infrastructure fares security-wise. The applicable risk level versus base risk level feature is beneficial because prior to Zafran, we only used the base risk level, but now understand that risk depends on the asset itself. Zafran is an excellent tool.

Useful for vulnerability management with many integrations
We use RiskSense for vulnerability management, and we have many integrations.  The solution is deployed on cloud. We use this solution daily. There are more than 200 people using this solution in my organization Most of the features are similar to what other tools have, but the UIs are quite user…

Empower clients with risk-based vulnerability management through continuous workflow and valuable insights
Tenable Security Center could improve by implementing more dynamic data displays and translating reports into European languages. This is especially relevant in Central Eastern Europe, where clients often require reports in local languages. Additionally, the licensing model could be more flexible for managed security providers, similar to a pay-as-you-go model.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Zafran is an excellent tool."
"We are able to see the real risk of a vulnerability on our environment with our security tools."
"Zafran has become an indispensable tool in our cybersecurity arsenal."
"Most of the features are similar to what other tools have, but the UIs are quite user friendly. A beginner could use it."
"My advice for those considering Tenable Security Center is to note the benefit of upgrading vulnerable devices."
"Tenable is the leading product for vulnerability scanning."
"Compared to other products, the most valuable features of the solution are its ease of use and ability to provide visibility over scan results while providing many templates to users, making it a helpful tool."
"The most effective feature of Tenable Security Center for detecting vulnerabilities is its capability for critical mapping."
"I think that this is a good solution for evaluating vulnerability in the network."
"Support is knowledgeable."
"The most valuable features of Tenable SC are the reports and the dashboards."
"Feature-wise, Tenable Security Center is a very fast tool with many dashboards and reports, and it covers all our systems."

Cons

"Initially, we were somewhat concerned about the scalability of Zafran due to our large asset count and the substantial amount of information we needed to process."
"I would also like to see more integrations, plugins, and user-friendly automation, similar to the multiple integration scripts that Rapid7 has."
"There's a lot of information being streamed out of the reports. What would be nice, and maybe we just haven't found it, would be more of an executive-type view. We still expect it to collect all this information, but we would like a feature that would allow us to show it to an executive or a director or someone like that and give them some type of high-level overview but not get into the nitty-gritty."
"Tenable SC can improve by making it easier to create complicated reports and have more effectiveness in the remediation area for comparison between the scans."
"We would like to see the inclusion of external IPs and simplified reporting that's easier to deal with"
"There is not much room for improvement. However, there should be a guide that describes the step-by-step procedures for doing tasks. Otherwise, training is required from a senior guy to a junior guy."
"I think the vendor training provided for Tenable.sc could be a lower price. It's quite expensive for the training."
"The reports and plugins for reports and scans could benefit from enhancements."
"The web application scanning area can be improved."
"Tenable's reporting engine needs improvement. It needs to be more efficient and add more features."
