Forcepoint Email Security [EOL] Reviews

We are in the service industry, and we provide solutions to customers. We have multiple customers, and they're using this solution for email security. I have also been using it as a user.

Its deployment usually involves a mixed approach. Now, every customer is moving to the cloud, and it is deployed on the cloud servers.

Our customers get more visibility into what's going on. They are able to get the exact details of what is being shared and what is being captured by Forcepoint. They were not aware of this information previously. It has also reduced spam.

We primarily use the solution for email security.

The solution is very easy for administration.

The interface is very good. 

It's easy to set up initially.

We have found the product to be stable. 

It can scale well. 

My use case for Forcepoint Email Security is email security, so it's for protection against spam, spyware, and malware.

Forcepoint Email Security is a good solution, and I don't have any issues with it. I found anti-spam and anti-spyware the most valuable features of Forcepoint Email Security.

Using Forcepoint, we have created policies and rules for any suspicious mail. It is blocked and only released by an admin's approval. We have also enabled rules which block internal to external mail, or external to internal depending on the organization's policies.

This solution could be improved by providing further functionality to reduce or to block ransom attacks, cross-site scripting and man-in-the-middle attacks. 

I have deployed the solution to two or three customers.  We have deployed hybrid protocol agents for the roaming user, and we did the deployment for the clients using an AWS configuration.

The filtering of the solution is very good. You can do URL filtering and, while you need a custom URL to filter under other solutions like Symantec, here the solution covers most categories and the database.

We work mainly with security firewalls and software servers.

We have customers who are not fully in the cloud. Forcepoint luckily has a hybrid deployment, which combines components from on-premise and hybrid from the cloud. 

The way the anti-spamming is being filtered out. It does not come onto the appliance directly. It comes onto the hybrid service where the first level of anti-spamming is performed. Then, you see an advantage with the bandwidth on-premise.

The Forcepoint Email Security roadmap easily integrates with the data loss prevention (DLP) suite of Forcepoint. Therefore, the customer doesn't have to buy another solution for DLP.

They have deployment available for the cloud on the Azure Marketplace. You just need to install the product.

We primarily use the solution to block malicious URLs based on categories.

It meets the client's requirements. Whatever categories need to be blocked, it does the job perfectly.

The solution is primarily used for email security purposes. It's only used for email protection and has no other use case. 

The solution has proven to be quite user-friendly.

It's easier to deploy than other options.

It's a stable product. The performance has been flawless.

We found the solution to be scalable. 

The dashboards are good. 

Its price point is fair and reasonable.
