No. This is an entry level model, and this one cannot be scaled.

No, this was the first choice, based on internet reviews.

Highly recommended the product, be sure to use the right backup application (Veeam or similar), so you can get the most out of it.

Thanks for the review - I just found it. One point I'm sure you're aware of is that there is a large family of StoreOnce products that scale from 5TB to over a PB for backup. Hopefully your HP StoreOnce 2620 is the right size for your needs.

Initial setup is done via ssh connection and not web based, and the web based management is a little less appealing visually than the previous incarnation

It's all pretty perfect. There are no missing features.

I've used the solution for one to two months.

The product is stable. There are no bugs or glitches. it doesn't crash or freeze. It's reliable and the performance is good.

The product can scale if you need it to.

We have 50 or 60 clients using the product.

Technical support is pretty good. We are satisfied with the level of service we got.

The initial setup is quite complex and difficult. It's not simple or straightforward. 

The last time I implemented the solution, it took me an hour or two to deploy.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The product could be more affordable. We typically order the license before we begin with the installation.

What other advice do I have?

I didn't use it for myself. I just sell them to clients.

I would rate the solution a seven out of ten overall.

HPE StoreOnce needs to provide a SaaS solution by offering high-density disks.

I rate the tool's stability a ten out of ten.
