We are a system integrator and Meraki SD-WAN is one of the products that we have implemented for our clients.
One of our simple use cases is an ISP environment where they required redundant connectivity.

One of our simple use cases is an ISP environment where they required redundant connectivity.
The most valuable feature is the ease of configuration.
The management can be done through the cloud.
It is easy to monitor and manage.
This vendor has issues with the supply chain that need to be improved.
I have been working with Meraki SD-WAN for approximately a year and a half.
For the small environments that we have used it in, this has been a stable product.
We have not really used this solution in any big deployments. As such, we haven't needed to scale it up.
We have set it up for approximately four clients of varying sizes.
We have never had to contact technical support.
I have also been working with the Fortinet SD-WAN for the past two to three years.
The initial setup is pretty straightforward.
In the environment that we most recently set it up in, the deployment took perhaps half a day.
We implement this product for our customers.
We also offer after-sales support. Each customer has what we call technical account managers. These are engineers with a post-sales function.
Our clients pay Meraki an annual licensing fee and the pricing is not too bad when compared to other products in the Cisco portfolio.
This is a product that I recommend. My advice for anybody who is interested in this product is that if you want a simple to configure SD-WAN deployment that's easy to monitor and manage, Meraki is a good fit.
That said, the price could always be better.
I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.
The primary use cases are bandwidth management, link aggregation, firewall features, and centralized monitoring.
The most valuable feature is the firewall capability. It's also got a very good graphical user interface and is very easy to manage.
An area for improvement would be to add 4G bonding and allow Meraki devices to support dual 4G SIM cards.
I've been working with Meraki for around two years.
The stability is very good.
This solution is very scalable.
Meraki does not have a very good support system in India.
The initial setup is simple, except that we don't have a proper point of contact in India who can address our questions properly.
Meraki's pricing is on the higher side, which may limit who can afford to use them.
We've had some problems with deliveries and with a lack of clarity on the vendors' part about timescales, which has created problems between us and our customers. I think this solution is best suited for small-to-medium enterprises, but it's good for big companies too. I would rate it as eight out of ten.
This is a software-defined networking solution in a wide area network.
This solution is good for the automatic creation of services.
This product has a simple configuration that can be accessed through a web interface or the API.
I think that it is the right time to research features such as IPsec IKEv2 and SSL decryption.
I would like a faster installation time in the next release.
It should be easier to install BGP and it should have a better backup.
I have been using Meraki SD-WAN for about two years.
We use the latest version in production environments. However, in the laboratories, we use the beta version to learn about the new features that we want to use in the future.
I focus on the technical aspects, configuration aspects, and monitoring aspects between the products to assist our customers.
This is a stable product.
Meraki SD-WAN is a scalable solution. We have implemented between 120 and 150 PCs.
We are looking forward to using some of the features that we are currently testing in the beta. Some of these include data suppression options and an IPsec solution with IKEv2.
I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
Meraki SD-WAN can be deployed on-premise or in the cloud.
I am using Meraki SD-WAN for small to medium-sized customers.
The most valuable feature of Meraki SD-WAN is its user-friendly interface.
Some of the on-premise security features of Meraki SD-WAN are on the cloud and some of my customers do not want to use the cloud. They should have on-premise security features for those that do not want to use the cloud.
In a future release, Meraki SD-WAN should improve the integration with other solutions.
I have been using Meraki SD-WAN for approximately six months.
I rate Meraki SD-WAN a nine out of ten.
We primarily use the solution for basic connectivity. That's about it at this time.
The simplicity of getting connected is the solution's most valuable aspect.
The solution has been stable so far. It's reliable and the performance is good.
We have found the product to be quite scalable.
With Meraki, it's more of a basic connectivity. It doesn't have all the feature sets that a Cisco SD-WAN solution has. It's limited.
The product needs to offer connectivity in the major clouds due to the fact that everybody has at least part of their workloads in the cloud.
We have found the solution to be stable. There are no bugs or glitches. The performance is good. We don't worry about it crashing or freezing. It's reliable.
The solution has been scalable so far. A company needing to scale should have no problems expanding it.
Meraki support is very similar to Cisco support. It's fine. I don't have any issues with them.
We are also familiar with other Cisco solutions.
I'd advise those considering the solution to first understand what they are buying before making the purchase.
I'd rate the solution at a seven out of ten.
As far as connectivity goes, Meraki does what it promises. However, it's basic connectivity.
The cloud management is the solution's most valuable feature.
The solution needs to enact more advanced protections.
We've been using the solution for a few months.
The solution is very stable.
The scalability the solution offers is very good.
Currently, we have 100 users on the solution in our company. I'm not sure if our organization plans to increase usage in the future.
Technical support is good. We've been very satisfied with the level of service they offer.
We did previously use a different solution. It was a solution for an on-premises environment and we wanted to move to the cloud, which is why we switched.
The initial setup was extremely straightforward.
It only took us one day to deploy the solution.
The service provided by the solution is very good.
I'd rate it eight out of ten.
The solution has many features available.
The security and upgrading could improve in this solution.
In an upcoming release, they could add more security features, such as antivirus.
I have been using the solution for approximately one year.
We have not had any problems with the stability of the solution.
The solution is scalable.
I have used Fortinet previously and this solution has a few more features that are beneficial. However, Fortinet is more secure.
The initial setup is simple.
This solution is more expensive than competitors.
I rate Meraki SD-WAN an eight out of ten.
The most valuable Meraki SD-WAN features for me are cloud management and Auto VPN.
The product could be improved by being made more simple to use. We had some issues integrating our MPLS with Meraki SD-WAN
Some features that should be included in the next release are micro-segmentation, ITS-related features, and inspection and detection for anti-malware.
I also think that they need to improve their hardware. They have some devices that support Wi-Fi, but not LTE and they have some other devices that only support LTE but not Wi-Fi.
I have been using this solution for two years.
Meraki SD-WAN is a very stable solution.
Meraki SD-WAN is a very scalable solution.
In my experience, they have good technical support available.
The initial Meraki SD-WAN setup is straightforward. Implementing this solution for a client with some 20 branches would take a week or two.
Two to five people are necessary for the deployment and maintenance of this solution.
When choosing this solution, our customers most often consider the level of simplicity Meraki SD-WAN provides relative to its price.
I think the price for this solution is fair.
