What is our primary use case?

The most relevant use cases are business processes that include repetitive human tasks that make use of different apps in a common workflow.

How has it helped my organization?

There are lots of opportunities to improve these business processes in terms of efficiency, time taken, and error rates.

What is most valuable?

  • Good workflow capabilities
  • E-learning and training academy
  • Fully robotized and human-assisted automation
  • A broad set of applications supported
  • VB.NET and C# for developers make it easy to get started.

What needs improvement?

  • Price could be an issue for large projects, but that's where you'll get a high ROI too.
  • The collection of applications supported can grow, but we've seen it's happening in the last versions.

For how long have I used the solution?

One to three years.

It has a very easy drag-and-drop interface that makes automating processes a breeze

What is our primary use case?

Automating various processes in systems such as SAP, Windows automation, and Excel. By making generic components, we are able to reuse them for various projects and clients.

How has it helped my organization?

This solution has enabled us to automate repetitive processes in an easy manner which has improved our KPIs. It's not that time-consuming to automate processes.

What is most valuable?

UiPath has a very easy drag-and-drop interface, which makes automating processes a breeze. The activities make you do most things, and if not, you have the option to custom-code them in .NET.

What needs improvement?

  • Some features feel a bit buggy, and older versions are prone to crash.
  • Double screen support would be nice.
  • More AI and ML support.

For how long have I used the solution?

Less than one year.

It easily reduces non-litigated tools for our clients
Pros and Cons
  • "It is extremely helpful with our invoicing process."
  • "I would like UIPath to improve the OCR visuals."

What is our primary use case?

It is extremely helpful with our invoicing process.

How has it helped my organization?

The key benefits are the reduction of the non-litigated tasks for our clients. It reduces time and staff needed to deal with these tasks.

What is most valuable?

The automation process is helpful.

What needs improvement?

I would like UIPath to improve the OCR visuals. Also, I wonder if one day the automation tools will be able to make simple decisions by themselves.

For how long have I used the solution?

One to three years.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It scales up easily.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup was not complex.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing is reasonable.

Easy to implement and use for automating processes in our CRM
Pros and Cons
  • "UiPath has helped to make all of the internal business processes lighter, enabling my company to save costs in time and speed for all of them."
  • "The training could be improved by clarifying more and more at every step."

What is our primary use case?

We primarily use this solution for one of our business use cases.

We are building robots with Safyr CRM. They are scheduled by Orchestrator and we are handling every step: Solution, design, followups, stacks, consulting, and finally implementation. Nowadays we are using robots internally but we will start with third-party clients in 2020 Q2.

How has it helped my organization?

UiPath has helped to make all of the internal business processes lighter, enabling my company to save costs in time and speed for all of them. Also, we are researching all implementation models to get the resources for a quick and agile response to all business cases within several markets.

What is most valuable?

Orchestrator is the definitive feature for me as it has the real meaning of robotic automation. The Orchestrator in UiPath has a lot of similarities with every RPA tool I have used, both for automations and machine managing. They remind me of tools like Jenkins or OpenShift UI. Simple and cool.

What needs improvement?

Since I am not an expert, I am looking to the training lessons. The training could be improved by clarifying more and more at every step.

We would like better integration with custom environments and external inputs like forums or integrations with other robotic frameworks.

For how long have I used the solution?

We have been using UiPath for two months.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We did not use another RPA solution prior to UiPath.

How was the initial setup?

UiPath is very useful and easy to implement.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Private Cloud

The academy is free and offers a low threshold for getting on the UiPath train

What is our primary use case?

The primary use case is probably the swivel chair operations where data is extracted from one system and used as input in another.

How has it helped my organization?

  • Efficiency gains: Tasks can go a lot faster.
  • Data quality: A robot is a human error-proof.
  • Mood: Employees don't need to do the dull, boring, annoying chores.

What is most valuable?

The academy is free and offers a low threshold for getting on the UiPath train. The community adds to this as someone is always willing to help out or someone else already encountered the same problem and solved it.

What needs improvement?

UiPath doesn't deliver on the promise of 'no programming skills required'. It is possible for smaller tasks, but if you want a companywide robot that is a little bit complex, you need someone with programming skills.

For how long have I used the solution?

One to three years.

The selector and keyboard CTRL clicks are very useful to handle difficult scenarios

What is our primary use case?

I am working in a virtual desktop client machine. I have been working as a .NET and RPA UiPath developer. I have an overall of three years of experience in UiPath. I have automated individually, or with a team, and I have successfully completed more projects and also got rewarded.

How has it helped my organization?

It reduces human work and is time-saving. I am automating the insurance based project. All insurance claims are automatically validated and verified, and it sends the mail to the user automatically without human help and without any error. In RPA, UiPath is awesome.

What is most valuable?

Overall, it's good. The selector and keyboard CTRL clicks are very useful to handle the difficult scenarios. Basically, the UI is dynamically changed. The dynamic selector is very useful to select the controls.

What needs improvement?

Debugging and intelligence window. Sometimes it's difficult to debug the code. It gets stuck and closes automatically, or the VDX stops. Might be better if you improve the debugging it has to advantage.

For how long have I used the solution?

Versioning is also good. It automatically convert the code after upgrading the software.I haven't faced any issues after upgrading.

Has a drag and drop feature to build the application

What is our primary use case?

We run many batch jobs manually to accomplish our business processes, which is very cumbersome and prone to human errors. One wrong job run may take many hours to fix the data, which sometimes causes chaos. Due to automation, it is easy to resolve our manual batch job run.

How has it helped my organization?

When batch jobs run, at that time, systems are locked and users are out. Once it is completed, only then do we allow users to log in to the system. Many times, operators run wrong jobs which creates chaos and exceeds the SLAs. After the automation, I believe these issues can be resolved.

What is most valuable?

  • Drag and drop feature to build the application
  • Keyword-based search and accordingly it just inherits its properties.

What needs improvement?

In the next release, I believe it should include cross-platform features. Like if our product is developed on Linux, then it should be capable of running shell scripts.

For how long have I used the solution?

Still implementing.
