Windows 10 is useful for running computers and applications.
This solution is deployed on-premise.
The most valuable feature of Windows 10 is the usability. The performance, security, and user interface are good.
Windows 10 could be improved by making the price cheaper.
I have been using Windows 10 since its launch, so for a couple of years.
This solution is stable and the performance is good.
Windows 10 is scalable. There are about 300 people in my organization using this solution.
Before implementing Windows 10, I was using Windows 7, and before that, I was using Windows XP. I switched because I was just upgrading to a newer version.
The installation was easy and straightforward. I did it myself, and it took about 30 minutes. For deployment and maintenance, we have a team of about four admins.
I implemented this solution through an in-house team.
We need to pay for licensing to use Windows 10. Any time we change the computers, we have to pay, and it's a bit expensive.
I rate Windows 10 a ten out of ten and would recommend it to others.
I'm not using the server version, I'm using the desktop edition on my laptop for running personal applications.
I have found Windows 10 much better than the previous versions. It performs well, is easy to use, and is easy to use for new users.
There is a lot of preloaded information on Windows 10, that impacts the memory position.
The security should improve because there are a lot of packets that have to be delivered, and that will take time to install.
I have been using Microsoft Windows solutions for 20 years and I have been using Windows 10 since it was released.
The solution is stable. however, it could be better.
We have approximately 1,000 users in my organization that use this solution.
I have not had direct support from Microsoft but I have used our IT support in my organization.
I have used Mac OS.
The installation is straightforward and does not take a lot of time.
The updates are done automatically in the background, you do not need to touch anything.
I would recommend this solution to others. It is good for users that have not used Linux, unit commands operating systems or Mac systems.
I rate Windows 10 a seven out of ten.
We've been using Windows for a long time, and I think it's pretty easy to use.
They should have something like a dashboard where users can tune the performance. After using Windows 10 for a while, the operating system starts to slow down. It does not operate like it did when you first installed it. So, in the long run, I don't know what the cache is holding and how it's slowing down the operating system's performance. The same goes for the Microsoft Office applications.
I've been using Windows 10 ever since it was first released.
Windows 10 is stable.
I'm not sure about Windows' scalability because I don't specialize in this operating system. I deal with networks.
My colleagues are pleased with Microsoft's support.
Installing Windows 10 is quite easy. You can get your system up and running in less than 30 minutes by yourself. We have three engineers responsible for maintaining our Windows systems.
I think for Windows 10, you only have to pay once.
I rate Windows 10 nine out of 10. I would recommend it.
I primarily use the solution for work purposes.
In terms of my company, it's giving me a Windows laptop, so that is why I'm using it. I can say that Microsoft Office works really well in Windows rather than on any other OS.
Many people are using Windows 10. There wouldn't be much if any compatibility issues when you have to share any information.
You can actually mirror your phones on Windows, without installing meaning third-party applications, which I really liked.
The initial setup is pretty straightforward.
The solution scales well.
Technical support seem to be helpful.
I generally have a better user experience using macOS than Windows.
I could actually see a lot of bugs and glitches. The performance of Windows is not that great.
They could optimize the OS for all devices.
If they could avoid the constant bombarding of the updates, which happens, that would be appreciated.
The stability isn't ideal. There are bugs and glitches. I've seen performance issues. This, of course, is in comparison to Mac, which is largely problem-free.
The scalability is pretty good, actually. When it comes to the enterprise solutions that Windows offers, scalability is never an issue.
We have around 250 people on the solution right now.
We do have plans to increase usage. We may end up doubling it.
I haven't used Microsoft support directly, however, in terms of the people who are setting it up in my company, they are good with the support on offer and are satisfied with the service they get. They will get back to you with an answer.
We've always used Windows. We did not use anything else previously.
The initial setup is pretty easy as people know the system and are comfortable with Windows - especially when it comes to server management. And whenever they want to control any other appliances, Windows is the way to go.
That said, I'm not sure how long the deployment process actually took.
In my company, likely three people were involved with the initial setup. They also handle maintenance.
There is an ROI in terms of being able to upgrade. You can upgrade your hardware or the solution every five years or so.
I would not say it's expensive. It has an extensive range of options. If you're just looking at the OS perspective, there is no comparison.
You don't know how much does a macOS costs you, as it comes with the hardware. I would say that, with the performance that Windows delivers, it's not justifiable that Windows is charging the money they do. That said, I would say that it is not expensive.
There might be a Windows setup fee when you buy the license, however, I am not 100% certain this is the case.
Our company uses the product. I am just an end-user.
I'm pretty neutral in terms of recommending it to anyone. There are pros and cons.
I'd rate the solution at a six out of ten.
We like that the patches are automatic. It takes away a lot of the administrative burden, from a security point of view, on the environment. You do not really need to worry about patch management on a Windows 10 machine, as it automatically does it. Those are the benefits that we see from a management point of view.
For personal or professional setups, the solution works well.
The solution is stable.
We find the solution to be quite scalable.
It does what it's meant to do. You don't want the platform to do anything more than what it's doing at the moment. It gives you the analytics. It gives you the right security posture. You can draw on it. It can integrate with other solutions.
What we like about the stack of products is if you manage it on a management console, it cuts across the enterprise. That's a benefit in terms of your rollout strategy. It's quicker to deploy, easier to deploy, and it definitely affects the user to a large degree. It doesn't consume too many resources on your endpoint.
Technical support is great in South Africa.
The whole point of Microsoft is it's a phenomenal stack of products. However, Microsoft must realize that it's operating in Africa. We cannot pay US dollars. For the cost of Microsoft Windows 10, it's just not affordable for the majority of the population in South Africa. Who's going to spend that amount of money when people are barely affording to live? It's costly.
I've been using the solution for the last 18 months. It's been over a year so far.
The stability of the solution is very good. there are no bugs or glitches and it doesn't crash or freeze. It's reliable.
The scalability of the solution is good. If a company needs to expand the product, it can do so.
W have 50 users on Microsoft right now.
In South Africa, we have great technical support from Microsoft. It comes down to the training and the availability of resources and that is great.
We did not previously use a different solution. We've always used Microsoft.
The deployment is very easy. The initial setup is simple. There are zero hassles.
I didn't do the installation personally, however, I know we just did a deployment for about 50 users, and it took us about a day to deploy it.
You can do it just by yourself. The guidelines and the training and so forth that Microsoft provides for users are great. If you follow that, it's great. From a Microsoft point of view, if you follow the step-by-step guide, it's easy to deploy. You don't need an integrator or consultant.
The solution is overpriced for the region.
We pay a licensing fee on a monthly basis.
I'm just a customer or an end-user.
As a cloud-based solution, we're using the latest version of the product.
I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. We've been happy with its capabilities in general.
We would recommend the solution to other users.
We use the solution to run our personal applications, such as MS Office.
The ease of use and performance are two of my favorite features.
As an open source application, the solution should be more accomodative.
I have been using Windows 10 for around two years.
The solution is stable.
I consider the personal use I make of the solution's Home Edition to be useful, for which scalability does not enter the equation.
I don't have experience with technical support.
In the past I used Windows 7. I switched as this relates to the updates.
The installation was easy. The solution comes equipped with basic installation capabilities.
Installation is usually handled by a consultant.
When it comes to the Home Edition, there is usually just a license.
The solution is very good. It is user-friendly.
I utilize the solution for my personal use.
I would definitely recommend the solution to others.
I rate Windows 10 as a ten out of ten.
Our main use for Windows 10 is as a platform to host our enterprise applications.
We like the productivity.
Most importantly, it's everywhere.
The compatibility of applications factor is the main reason to choose the Microsoft operating system.
The update cycle could use some improvement. There have been a lot of zero-day security issues that have mostly been met, but, the way Microsoft handled these could sometimes be less user disruptive.
It could be more secure, which is our main concern from a company's perspective.
The technical support could also be improved.
We have been using Windows 10 since 2015.
We are using the latest version.
We deployed it on-premises and it has also been deployed as Azure Virtual Desktop.
It is stable enough for our purposes.
Windows 10 is definitely scalable. We have 300 users in our organization who use it.
Technical support is a bit varied. Depending on the type of technical support that you need, most are very responsive and usually, they are quite knowledgeable.
There is definitely room for improvement, especially with more complex and less straightforward questions. It tends to stay in the area of data gathering.
The initial setup is straightforward. It is easy to install.
The length of time for deployment depends on the scale,
On a one-for-one basis, and using the automation tools that are provided with additional licensing, we use Microsoft Endpoint manager for this. it doesn't take very much time.
We have three people to manage it on a day-to-day basis.
Pricing depends on the type of license. If you are an enterprise customer, you can pay for licensing on a monthly basis.
We, however, are an educations firm, we pay for our licensing on an annual basis. It also depends on the relationship you have with Microsoft.
I would recommend this solution to others who are interested in using it.
On a scale from one to ten, I would rate Windows 10 an eight.
This solution is used to help the end-user with whatever is required for their day-to-day work.
It is mainly used by the end-user, as their operating system.
Windows 10 is quick.
It includes many features with many options.
Also, it is easy to use.
They don't use it with any third-party integration, it doesn't require this as it is used by the end-user.
While it is already a stable product, it can be improved.
We have been using Windows 10 for three to four years, since it was launched.
Windows 10 is the latest version. I believe they will launch Windows 11 in the next few months.
Windows 10 is a stable product.
It's a scalable solution. It has a very good upgrade path.
We have approximately 50 users in my office.
Technical support is good. We have no issues with the technical support from Microsoft.
We did not use any other solution before Windows 10.
The installation is very straightforward.
It takes less than one hour to install and deploy.
We only require one person to maintain this solution. I do it myself for the site.
I completed the installation myself. I did not need the help of a consultant or an integrator.
The license is built into whatever you have purchased. For example, we purchased our Lenovo laptop and the license for Windows 10 was built in.
We did not evaluate any other product before choosing Windows 10.
I would rate Windows 10 a nine out of ten.
