Pricing Analyst at Transcend
Improves business decisions with large data processing but struggles with visual errors and delayed support
What is our primary use case?
I am an end user of Zoho Analytics as we work in perfumes, specifically in the perfume category, where we deal with a lot of suppliers and clients, and we want to determine whose price is better and if this price is fair in recent history; we use analytics with the help of SQL queries.
Those are my main use cases for Zoho Analytics.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable aspects of Zoho Analytics are its capabilities to perform almost every action in Excel, Power BI, and SQL, and it can act as a database management system, so all three functionalities work fine, and it is not that costly.
It's cost-effective, of course.
While the decision-making for my organization comes from our side, Zoho Analytics helps with the visual display, and it helps us to easily understand what is happening with the products and prices in recent history; visually, it's appealing, allowing us to make simpler or easier decisions based on the visual representation.
What needs improvement?
I didn't like the AI-driven insights from Zoho Analytics because most of the time, it gets wrong data and wrong results as output, so I don't usually use the AI features from Zoho Analytics and feel that it's not ready yet.
I would like them to improve the AI capabilities to let it learn more, as the Ask Zia AI chatbots and AI tools that bring automated reports currently do not make sense since the reports aren't any good; most of the time, 90% of the AI-generated reports make no sense for us.
I didn't understand the collaborative features of Zoho Analytics so far.
In my opinion, the API feature from Zoho Analytics needs significant improvement, as it's quite hard to connect with Google Sheets or other websites; also, data backup options were not reliable, as I found that not all my data were available in the backup. These limitations show the need for improvements.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working with Zoho Analytics for one and a half years to two years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Although sometimes the charts may show unstable values when data limits exceed, overall, Zoho Analytics works fine with about 95% accuracy.
Generally, Zoho Analytics is very stable, despite the issue that only 40% or less of the SQL queries work.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The scalability of Zoho Analytics is good, as the adaptability is easy without many hard points around it.
Zoho Analytics can easily adapt to our needs when they grow, and you don't need much knowledge to adapt it; even basic Excel knowledge is sufficient.
How are customer service and support?
Rating the technical support from Zoho Analytics depends on who picks the call, as someone knowledgeable can solve our problems quickly, while someone with limited knowledge can extend our wait time, so I would say it's a range of five to six.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Neutral
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Before we chose Zoho Analytics, we were trying different analytical tools, and while there may have been better software than Zoho Analytics, the costs for those were too high, making Zoho Analytics the most optimal variant for us.
How was the initial setup?
I participated in the initial setup of Zoho Analytics.
The deployment process was easier at the beginning, but we struggled with certain areas like visual representation, where the support from the Zoho Analytics team was helpful in creating reports.
What was our ROI?
Overall, the positive benefits from working with Zoho Analytics have been significant; before using it, our business mainly focused on wholesale, retail, and e-commerce in the UK market, particularly selling perfumes, where we didn't prioritize data analytics, but after incorporating Zoho Analytics, now all our decisions come from its reviews.
What other advice do I have?
I don't recall using predictive analytics in Zoho Analytics. That's another area for improvement.
On a scale of one to ten, I rate Zoho Analytics a seven out of ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Public Cloud
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
How was the initial setup?
I participated in the initial setup of Zoho Analytics, and my experience with it involved performing necessary actions; it was manageable.
What other advice do I have?
I am an end user of Zoho Analytics, not an integrator, reseller, or consultant. I still consult my customers, either doing consultancy for third-party customers or within my company.
The use of AI is beneficial in Zoho Analytics, particularly its predictive analytics capabilities. SQL queries are indeed important for the functionality.
While pricing and licensing of Zoho Analytics might be expensive, it's definitely worth the money. If you want to use an AI agent or automated insights, you should pay for the premium license, as the standard and basic versions are not as powerful in AI features.
My customers usually choose deployment on premises.

Helps to analyze past performance and conduct company performance reviews
Pros and Cons
- "The tool's most valuable feature is its dashboard."
- "The improvement needed is regarding the number of API calls. Currently, Zoho Analytics only allows us to update data hourly. It would be much better to have updates more frequently every half an hour."
What is our primary use case?
We use Zoho Analytics for finance and CRM. Recently, we started using it for ticket management. We use it to analyze past performance and conduct company performance reviews. Additionally, it helps us identify any loopholes within the company.
What is most valuable?
The tool's most valuable feature is its dashboard.
What needs improvement?
The improvement needed is regarding the number of API calls. Currently, Zoho Analytics only allows us to update data hourly. It would be much better to have updates more frequently every half an hour.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working with the product for six years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I rate the tool's stability a ten out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Zoho Analytics' scalability depends on the database. If you want to add more data, you need to upgrade the license. We use it daily.
How are customer service and support?
I haven't contacted the support yet.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I use Microsoft Power BI. I think it is easier than Zoho Analytics.
How was the initial setup?
The tool's deployment is simple, taking less than an hour to complete. Within that time frame, we can integrate it with other systems and generate reports or dashboards.
What about the implementation team?
My team did the deployment.
What was our ROI?
The tool's ROI is good. Using the software eliminates the need to maintain databases and set up data centers, saving us from the associated costs and maintenance headaches. This allows us to focus solely on data analysis and dashboard creation.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I rate the tool's pricing seven out of ten. The licensing costs are yearly.
What other advice do I have?
Integration with other platforms in Zoho Analytics works fairly well. We've successfully integrated it with other databases. However, the issue lies in the frequency of updates, which happens only every four hours.
I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten. I would recommend Zoho Analytics to others. Compared to Microsoft Power BI, it's easier to work with databases for analytics.

An easy-to-set up solution that helps in the scheduling of reports and dashboards
Pros and Cons
- "Scheduling of reports and dashboards is the most valuable feature of Zoho Analytics."
- "There is a limitation that we cannot create more than 300 columns in a worksheet on Zoho Analytics."
What is our primary use case?
We use Zoho Analytics to combine the different data sources of things like CRM Analytics and CRM Projects Creator into a single workspace and then build a report on top of it. We also use the solution to create a revenue report based on sales that shows the projected revenue before the development vs. the actual revenue used for a particular project.
What is most valuable?
Scheduling of reports and dashboards is the most valuable feature of Zoho Analytics.
What needs improvement?
A lot of integrations are available with Zoho Analytics. There is a limitation that we cannot create more than 300 columns in a worksheet on Zoho Analytics. The data can be in millions. There are some limitations on the reports that depend on the various combinations of data you get. So there is always an error that gets thrown out if you are building complex reports.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Zoho Analytics for one and a half years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I rate Zoho Analytics an eight out of ten for stability.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I rate Zoho Analytics eight and a half out of ten for scalability.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup of Zoho Analytics is easy.
What about the implementation team?
Zoho Analytics' deployment time depends on the number of reports you want, the number of dashboards you need, and the complexity of the datasets.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Zoho One is cheaper if we purchase it in bulk. However, if we purchase stand-alone products, each application has its own price and cost.
Zoho Analytics costs $ 4,200 per month, billed yearly. You get fifteen users and up to five million rows of data on cloud. It has different versions for on-premise, and the pricing differs based on whether it is on a local server or AWS.
What other advice do I have?
Since we use Zoho One, we get enterprise-level access to related applications for our organization. Zoho Analytics is deployed on the public cloud for us, but Zoho Analytics can be deployed on both cloud and on-premise.
Overall, I rate Zoho Analytics an eight out of ten.

Network Security and Data Specialist at JW Seagon
It's come along way, reviewing it in 2025, and it's a lot more versatile than it was 2 years ago.
Pros and Cons
- "We use the solution for financial and sales analytics. It brings data from our IT incident management tool. Hence, we have three business use cases for IT support, sales and financials."
- "I have a lower rating when it comes to Zoho Analytics. The tool has poor performance. It needs to improve the dimensions and measures."
What is our primary use case?
We leverage this solution to address key areas such as financial and sales analytics. It integrates seamlessly with our IT incident management tool, allowing us to consolidate and analyze data effectively. As a result, the platform supports three critical business use cases: managing and optimizing IT support operations, driving insights and performance improvements in sales, and ensuring accurate and insightful financial analysis.
How has it helped my organization?
It has improved in its ability to provide a 360-degree view of an object, primarily due to the associations and relationships established between objects analyzed within the platform.
What is most valuable?
Zia serves as a powerful tool for efficiently navigating and retrieving insights from extensive datasets. It enables users to perform rapid searches and gain quick access to relevant information, streamlining the process of analyzing and understanding large volumes of data. This capability significantly enhances decision-making by providing timely and accurate insights tailored to the user's needs.
What needs improvement?
I have a lower rating when it comes to Zoho Analytics. The tool has poor performance. It needs to improve the dimensions and measures.
For how long have I used the solution?
3 years
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The solution becomes easier if its performance could be improved.
How was the initial setup?
The product's setup is straightforward. The initial stage is a bit cumbersome because it's the stage where you define the formulas. However, once everything is setup, then it's easy. We use the tool's cloud-based version. You need to define the business requirements while deploying the product.
What about the implementation team?
We had a good background in Analytics and didn't need any third-party help.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The product's licensing is reasonable.
What other advice do I have?
I would rate the solution a 6 out of 10. While it serves as a standard analytics platform, it falls short of delivering the advanced capabilities one might expect from a modern analytics solution. Having used several analytics platforms in the past, I feel this product offers only the baseline functionality necessary for its purpose.
The platform is relatively straightforward for users with advanced Excel skills, as it often requires defining custom formulas. However, for individuals less familiar with analytics, I recommend engaging a third-party vendor to assist with the implementation process to ensure proper setup and optimal use.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Private Cloud
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

A stable product with an excellent dashboard, but call center facilities for customer support are not available
Pros and Cons
- "The solution’s dashboard is very good."
- "The solution does not provide call center facilities for customer support."
What is our primary use case?
I use the solution for MIS reporting.
What is most valuable?
The solution’s dashboard is very good.
What needs improvement?
The solution does not provide call center facilities for customer support. So we cannot retrieve reports if there’s an issue. Instead, we must put the reports in the BI tool and send them to our management.
Zoho Analytics provides analytics and reporting for up to 1000 SKUs. If there are more than 1000 SKUs, the data is automatically uploaded to Excelpoint, and we must extract data from there.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution for the last four years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The product is stable. I rate the stability a seven out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I rate the scalability a six out of ten. We have twenty users in our organization.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The price is high. The solution advertises that it provides products for 55 AED per user, but these products contain only the basic features. Most of the features are locked.
The version of the product that includes Zoho Analytics costs around 199 AED per user per month.
What other advice do I have?
The product is good for single users. The solution provides data for only one branch. If we need reports for other branches, we must download the data and enter it into the BI tool to create reports for the management. Overall, I rate the solution a six out of ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
On-premises

The initial setup process is more straightforward than Qlik Sense.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
