I would suggest to those who plan to use Altaro VM Backup for MSPs to know they are own infrastructure and needs. Altaro VM Backup for MSPs is meant for VMs. If you expect Altaro VM Backup for MSPs to back up a file share that you're hosting on an external device, it will not do that for you since that is something you need to do by yourself in your virtual machine environment. You need to know your infrastructure and your environment before you make a move, which goes for everything and not just for Altaro, which includes people's decisions to move to the cloud or do product swaps and things like that. I rate the overall tool a nine out of ten.
