The solution is pretty easy to use. My recommendation depends on what purpose someone wants to use the tool for. If someone wants to use it for work purposes, it's quite good. It warns and protects us from viruses or sharing confidential information outside the organization. I use the tool for free as an employee of my organization. I have used other VPNs only on my mobile phone. Those tools were better at connecting to the network. Cisco is the second-best product I have used. Overall, I rate the product an eight out of ten.

Once you are on a VPN, we can use whatever applications the client gives us access to. There is no limitation regarding whether it is an Oracle database or some UI programs. Whatever is required is given through the VPN. It doesn't take much time to get into the solution. You have an authenticator on your mobile, and your mobile is linked to the VPN. Your authenticator gives you access to the VPN and allows you to access the environment securely. Cisco IOS SSL VPN can be deployed on-premises or on the cloud. I would recommend Cisco IOS SSL VPN to users looking for reliability. The encryption provided by the solution is good. The solution’s user experience has been good. Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

While traveling or during business travel, I connect through remote access connectivity of the solution. We are able to securely access most of our applications or systems using Cisco VPN. A team of five to six people were involved in the solution's deployment and maintenance. Overall, I rate Cisco IOS SSL VPN a nine out of ten.

Those who plan to use the solution should test it before implementing it in their environment. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it. I rate the overall tool an eight out of ten.
I am using the latest version of Cisco IOS SSL VPN. A normal person with some networking knowledge can deploy and maintain Cisco IOS SSL VPN because it's not that complicated. Cisco is one of the best solutions as far as routing and networking are concerned. Cisco still has some configurations to be done using the command line interface (CLI). That is a challenge if you are not familiar with CLI. The GUI interface is quite simple, and it's evolved from what it was earlier. It's good from the security point of view that you need to do those configurations using CLI. Overall, I rate Cisco IOS SSL VPN an eight out of ten.

It is important to understand the technology and know the product rather than focus on a specific concepts from a specific OEM. If you know the technology on a broader scope, it is easier to configure any OEM device. I rate this solution a nine out of ten.

I rate Cisco IOS SSL VPN eight out of 10. My advice is to be patient with anything new, and you'll get the best out of it. Once you gain complete knowledge of the solution, you'll love working on it.
Cisco is a well known brand which provides good service and many people have familiarity with it, including businesses. As Cisco IOS SSL VPN is a good solution, but comes with a cost that is higher than all others, I rate it as a nine out of ten.

I can't say that I would recommend this solution at this time because the support for the Token software is expiring soon and Cisco IOS SSL VPN would have to be upgraded to another solution similar to Token. I would rate this solution a seven out of ten.

Cisco does have really good products and good services but pricing is not allowing us to take advantage of their enterprise solutions. On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I think Cisco SSL VPN is an 8.

On a scale of one to ten, I give this solution an eight. In the next version I would like to see easier installation that allows a default to open un-trusted servers. The servers should be more user-friendly too.

Nothing is perfect and my advice to others would be to look at their requirements before they choose a solution. Cisco has been tested and used widely so there are virtually no issues in terms of selecting Cisco. But it's up to each client to determine what they need when it comes to things like trafficking. Additional features that I would like to see included in the next release of Cisco VPN is that it should be compatible with all the devices like mobile devices, laptops, or iPads. On a scale from one to 10, I will rate this solution an eight.
My advice to others would be that, if they are going in the cloud, they can use other products from the cloud too. In the next version, I would like to see central management, because sometimes you have more than two or three devices. If we can have a solution that can manage all these devices, that will be great. For example, if you need to update one device, you can just do it from one place without having to update all of them separately. On a scale from one to ten, I rate this solution a seven.
