I use the solution whenever I'm not using my office Wi-Fi. I switch on the VPN to connect to any Wi-Fi outside my work location. I have to use my username and password from my work. The solution is used for security. I work for the HR department. We have a lot of confidential organizational data.

When we are on a client network, the VPN comes into effect. We don't need a VPN for pre-sales or our local work. The solution is used for anything where a certain amount of data security is required and certain controls are in place. It's largely used when you are on a client network.
We configure the solution to remote connection to our workspaces, and we configure it as a next-generation firewall. We use the solution for some rules and access policies, and we configure the VPN client for internal and external connections.

I use Cisco IOS SSL VPN in my company. Though it is a complex product, it is flexible and shares similarities with one of the products I have experience with, so in general, I feel it is a good solution. The tool is very easy and user-friendly to use. In our company, we saw that clients who use VPNs require almost the same or common functionalities from any product. The use cases are more related to the location of the clients because Cisco is a vendor that serves mostly clients or customers in the USA. In the European market, our company uses more of Fortinet. Our company does many Cisco installations in the USA.
I use Cisco IOS SSL VPN to secure my connections, whereby the communication between my computer and my company's server is encrypted, and the information is air-gapped.

It is used as a VPN. Suppose you are working for any company and need to access something, but are unable to access it from outside, this solution is able to help. This solution helped a lot during the pandemic.
I use IOS for VPN. I work overseas often, and sometimes, I can't access what I need without a VPN. Some countries like Indonesia are restrictive, so you need a VPN. We've got about 10,000 employees, and we're all using it. I'm working on a company-provided laptop. I can't connect to our systems without Cisco.

My company installs the solution for our customers so they can remotely connect to their networks. We have a staff of 70 technicians and provide end-to-end service from procurement to deployment.
We work in financial reporting, so the reports are confidential, and we can't have direct access. We gain access to their system from here, and we work on that.
We use the latest version. Even with us using the latest version, the 40, Cisco FirePOWER, is the new generation for ASA, with a set up SSL VPN, as well.
