I advise others to consider the specific requirements of users, such as personal devices that may not be supported before making a purchase decision. I rate it an eight out of ten.
There is an international virus database and all products like Trellix Endpoint Security have to sync the virus definition data with the international database. As part of the vulnerability assessment, the antivirus software developing companies have to keep their data synced with the centralized database. Whenever any vulnerability or an attack is identified, immediately a vulnerability report is generated and uploaded. Following the aforementioned incident, all the antivirus companies immediately update their virus eradicating tools so that new or unknown attacks can be easily mitigated. New viruses, Trojans, or attacks are being invented and circulated all the time, so companies have to consistently keep updating their system. The antivirus agent keeps running and analyzing the system it's installed in, but there is no effective data regarding the analysis or detection. For instance, suppose a virus intervened in your system at 12:00 AM and immediately it was detected, then you can claim the antivirus solution to be the most effective. I would definitely recommend that others use Trellix Endpoint Security; in an enterprise environment, they must have an antivirus, including the local and remote systems, if used. I would overall rate Trellix Endpoint Security as nine out of ten. The solution doesn't need to be integrated with other tools to function effectively.
The product has improved its malware protection features since it provides a couple of features that no other solution does. The tool is helpful for multiple companies. The tool streamlines the incident response process. The most effective part of the product for threat prevention is related to the tool's rollback feature. Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS) is like an antivirus tool, but it doesn't alone provide the rollback feature since it is something that is possible with Trellix Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR). The tool does provide adaptive threat protection features. I recommend the product to those who plan to use it. I rate the tool a seven to eight out of ten.

We integrate the product into our system using API. The information, in the form of messages or alarms, is received in our system. We further process this information and incorporate it into our complete solution. I rate the product an eight out of ten.
Ten people are required for maintenance. You should monitor how efficiently the solution functions, how it will impact your system, and how many files will be processed. The more files your system has, the more security time is needed to scan them daily. Due to this, your system may become slower. Trelix ensures the system does not slow down even when Trelix runs in the background. Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.

It is very easy to maintain the solution. I suggest checking for the product's performance issues for those planning to use the solution. I rate the overall solution a seven out of ten.
I rate Trellix Endpoint Security six out of 10. I would give it a seven or an eight if not for the vendor's shortcomings in terms of support and local presence. The scale and speed of response make a difference. It's an excellent product that may not be perceived as such because of how it's supported and the awareness of potential customers. Before implementing Trellix, you should take time to understand the core use cases you want to achieve and match them to specific features. You should also do a limited proof of concept with the vendor or a distributor.

I'd recommend that potential users of this solution look for something more modern, for a newer company providing innovative solutions. I rate this solution five out of 10.
I'd rate the solution seven out of ten. Having used Trend Micro as well, I would rate Trend Micro higher. However, I would still choose this product as a second option. When we recommend a product, we would recommend something based on the fit of the product and customer requirements. We worked with Defender, we worked with Trend Micro, and we worked with McAfee. All of them almost overlap in multiple use cases. That said, we do see the customer IT strategy and where they're going, and they are adopting Azure more. We know there are certain limitations in their landscape where there may be some old legacy systems, and in that case, then we would either switch back to McAfee or Trend Micro instead of Defender.

We are using the latest version of the solution. I'm not sure of the version number. We keep it updated. I don't recommend McAfee for endpoint users. This is a very crucial tool that to have these days. However, it is too heavy for the end user. I'd rate it six out of ten.

I have some experience with McAfee MVISION Endpoint, and I'm currently using it. I can't remember the exact version of the solution which I'm using, but it's the latest version. My company is a customer of McAfee MVISION Endpoint. My company is a telco, so I don't have the exact user count, but it's surely more than a hundred. All roles within my company use the product, even people at the highest levels. At the moment, there's no plan to increase usage of McAfee MVISION Endpoint within the company. My advice for people looking into implementing McAfee MVISION Endpoint is to use the demo, roll it out within your organization, utilize its functionalities, and let it work for you. In terms of rating, I'm giving McAfee MVISION Endpoint a solid eight because it does what's needed and it works, so no complaints.

I'm a reseller and solutions provider. It can be deployed in a virtualized environment or on the cloud. It depends on the client's requirements. I typically recommend the SaaS environment, however, in the Phillippines, it's mostly on-premises still. In that case, we may use a virtualized or physical server. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

I would definitely recommend McAfee MVISION Endpoint because it is cloud-based app management and requires little maintenance. I would rate, McAfee MVISION Endpoint, an eight out of ten.
We're a McAfee partner. We are using the SaaS version. It's my understanding that we are on the latest version of the solution. We would recommend the solution to other companies. We actually sell it and provide it to all our clients. I'd rate the solution at a ten out of ten.

With MVISION Endpoint, even if you don't know about cybersecurity, you can just turn on the protection checkbox. It's that easy. It was really relatable to my experience with Sophos because the configuration there was also that simple, so I really liked it. For those who can't afford expensive cybersecurity professionals but are responsible for configuring the security of the organization, MVISION Endpoint is a good product to go with. It's flexible, and you can manage it from the cloud or on-premises. At present, it is often used by small businesses because of its ease of use, configuration, and deployment. It's been around on the market for a long time, and has undergone many improvements. So, on a scale from one to ten, I would rate McAfee MVISION Endpoint at eight.
My advice to people considering this solution is that they should take a look at it. As of now, that is all I can say. I was not focused on working with all of the products within this category and, after a long time, I am working with them again. Just these last three or four months, I am back into evaluating the security solution sets more rigorously. I am not biased at this point and have to leave the possibilities wide open in order to make a good recommendation. On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would rate McAfee MVISION Endpoint as a five to six in a range of ten. The rating is not about the product being perfect, I am not rating it too high because the things that are missing are things that really should be a part of a superior endpoint solution already. They have so much to work on as of now with this product that it seems to be lagging behind. With their experience in the business, they should know these things are important. If you look into the other competing products of whatever brand, the competition has already released identity and access management. The new organizations in the category are coming into this field with all the latest innovations. As more of them do, they will create a challenge in the marketplace. McAfee is lagging a little behind and not moving quickly to keep up.

We have been working with McAfee for four years and the sales and support have always been good. It is not difficult for us to handle McAfee because they have always worked well with us. I think that this is a good option for people working from home because it is easy to implement and deploy the agents. My recommendation for anybody who is implementing this product is to have VPN access set up, adding to the security, especially when working from home. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS) is a comprehensive solution designed to protect organizations from advanced cyber threats. With its advanced threat detection capabilities, ENS provides real-time visibility into endpoint activities, enabling proactive threat hunting and response.
