I’d rate Sophos Email a nine for our use case, as I haven’t found a better solution. My advice for new users is to work with an authorized Microsoft dealer to get direct support. Many resellers sell licenses, but having a primary dealer ensures better technical support, which is invaluable. It may be more expensive, but the benefits outweigh the costs.
I don't have any issue with the product, as it works properly. I only face some spam emails, but the tool automatically blocks them. Sometimes, one or two spam emails will come, and at such a time, they need to be blocked or blocklisted. Around 95 percent of the time, the tool works. Only five percent of the time, you may have to deal with one or two spam emails. The anti-spam functionality of Sophos Email is good. The tool does gateway-level filtering, and after that, you can use Office 365. We use Sophos only for gateway purposes, and for other mailing purposes, we use Office 365. The anti-spam functionality has improved our email management, as there are mostly no spam emails, and everything works well. The tool does not utilize any AI features. I recommend the tool to others. I use it in my company which deal in the area of exports. I rate the tool a nine out of ten.

Sophos gives you a feature set to manage your on-premises firewall on the cloud. I just integrated my on-premises firewall into the cloud, and I can manage the tool through the cloud as well if needed. I recommend using Sophos Email as a proxy. For email gateways, I advise choosing mature products with rich feature sets, like Trend Micro or CrowdStrike. The solution's integration with other tools is very simple. I easily integrated Sophos Email with my Active Directory. My organization needs a WAF with a limited feature set, which we use through Sophos. Purchasing additional WAF will be costly, but I get sandboxing and WAF features free of cost with Sophos, which is included in the license. Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.
Sophos Email is easy to integrate with other security systems. We use it alongside Microsoft Defender, and it works well for us. The tool is a popular choice for our country's government systems. I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten. I would recommend it to others.
We utilize Sophos Email Gateway to protect against phishing in our company. Following the standard recommendation provided by Sophos, we established connectivity between Sophos Email Gateway and Microsoft 365. It has enhanced our approach to tackling malware and spam. It is a reliable product with a good user interface. The integration capabilities still need improvement, as some functionalities are not operating properly. Specifically, attention needs to be given to AD integration capabilities, which are crucial for various operations. I rate it a seven out of ten.

The product is SaaS-based, meaning it's on the cloud. When deployed, it communicates with your email server, whether on-premises or hosted by Microsoft, Google, or AWS. With DLP configured, emails containing credit card numbers are quarantined, and notifications are sent to designated administrators for review. The system follows Australian standards for financial security. However, you can use your templates for governance and financial security. I rate the overall solution a nine out of ten. I recommend starting with a small user base, perhaps five to six users initially. If they're satisfied with the service, they can expand. A trial period, maybe seven days, before making a purchase decision is good. It's also worth exploring other solutions in the market, with Microsoft being one of the top contenders, especially considering its built-in spam protection with certain subscriptions. However, opting for Sophos offers the advantage of multiple layers of security and centralized filtering. Customers are very happy with the product and renew its license.
If someone's solution is straightforward and they don't have too many proxies, I will advise them to choose Sophos Email. However, I would not advise choosing Sophos if their network or infrastructure is quite complex. They will need some fine-tuning. We will need a principal developer if there is a bug in the software. Overall, I rate the tool seven out of ten.
We haven't contacted support since we use forums to solve our problems. I rate Sophos Email an eight out of ten. Sophos is one of the main options we recommend to clients looking for a firewall or email security solution.
I may suggest those planning to use the solution to give it a try. Since the technical support is not comfortable enough, I rate the overall solution a seven out of ten.
I'm a customer. We have decommissioned the solution completely. We did not change Sophos to a new product. We migrated on-premise email to Office 365. I'd want people to know this is a good product. I'd recommend it. I'd rate the solution an eight out of ten.

I highly recommend Sophos Email. People who are having their email accounts with Office 365 might not be motivated to buy Sophos because Office 365, is already a cloud subscription that includes mailboxes and protection. They might be very happy with that, or might not be. However, the people who are not hosting their email on the cloud should use Sophos Email. I rate Sophos Email a ten out of ten.

I would recommending deciding on the specific features you need rather than just going for the standard product because you will be missing out on advanced features that take care of advanced threat protection. I recommend the advanced version which protects against threats from hackers and especially when it comes to phishing. I would rate this solution a seven out of 10.

We're just customers. We don't have any business relationship with the company. I'm still working with this solution and testing its capabilities. There's still so much to learn about its offerings. On a scale from one to ten, I would rate it at an eight. If they had better deployments for email security, I might rate them higher.
