It is expensive, but the cost is justified considering the security it provides. Compared to other solutions, it is costly. We have not tried other solutions, but the price is high. We only license Password Vault.
Payments have to be made on a yearly basis toward the licensing costs of the solution. I would say that the solution is expensive because it's only preferred by the top-tier companies involved in banking or insurance who have no problem with budgets for their cybersecurity. A medium or small-sized company would prefer to use some other solution over CyberArk Enterprise Password Vault.
CyberArk Enterprise Password Vault's pricing is reasonable. Since CyberArk Enterprise Password Vault is an enterprise-level solution, its cost is higher than other solutions in the market. The solution comes with maintenance for the first year. However, after that, we need to pay for maintenance. CyberArk Enterprise Password Vault's licensing model is comparatively very easy. It has a single license. We can deploy the solution based on the particular solutions we need.

The product’s pricing is feasible for enterprise customers. The pricing is expensive for smaller businesses. You need to pay additional costs for service implementation and local support.
This is very costly software. However, I haven't really dug into the licensing. My organization gives all its employees a free license and therefore I don't have to worry about pricing. My organization is a partner with CyberArk also. Even so, we just have one instance as a practice instance.

The SaaS version of CyberArk Enterprise Password Vault is very expensive, but the on-premises version is relative, e.g. depending on the size of the environment, it can be a bit pricey, but it's relatively okay compared to the others. It's their SaaS solution that's expensive.

At my previous company, my budget amount was $15,000, and we didn't spend all of that. It was a larger company than the one I'm with now. It was global. We didn't spend that or come anywhere near it. They're still adding on, and I know that CyberArk will be the solution that they're going to stick with. They were hybrid, and now they're all cloud.
On-prem CyberArk is pretty expensive. It's pricey and you get what you pay for. It's an incredible product for what it does, but it's significantly cheaper to go to the cloud.

Password Vault is much pricier than other solutions. A vendor team might struggle to explain why that price is justified. There are good alternatives that cost less.

It's an affordable platform. It is not the cheapest solution available on the market, but if you want a good project, you need to have the value of the solution you are selecting. In my opinion, it is a good compromise between the cost and the benefits. I think the price is fair.

The licensing plan is either six months or one year — it's not on a monthly basis. Every company will have a different license fee, but ultimately, it comes down to how many users you want to manage and how many companies you want to support. If you want three CPMs, then you'll need licensing for three. It's per-company, license-based.

There are costs in addition to the standard licensing. There is an implementation fee. Those are additional fees and the customer has the annual maintenance, the software, and whole maintenance cost added to that. So there are additional costs besides this standard license.

The price is higher than the competition, but if the customer wants the best product for their company, they won't mind the price. We have a permanent license. Licensing is based on how man users you have, so the pricing varies according to the size of the company.
As far as I know, CyberArk changed its pricing policy for our region. Overall it was very expensive a few years ago, but now, just around a year ago, it became less expensive and it's easier for us to sell it.
