I have implemented four to five projects from scratch with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. I handle domains such as hospitality, technology, and food and beverage companies. It was an amazing experience because the solution specifically works for B2C companies. My clients use the solution for marketing automation.
We use Salesforce Marketing Cloud for marketing sequences and sending regular email communication. It has two types of email communication. One is transactional emails, which are based on your purchases' history. The solution analyzes your data, including what kind of purchases you've made in the past and what could be your next purchases. Based on this data analysis, it sends you sequences of promotional emails. The solution creates an entire portfolio of customers, from their first order to the last and potential orders. According to that portfolio, related products and promotions are marketed to customers.

We are using Salesforce Marketing Cloud in our beverage company. This company is in Costa Rica. We're using it to get all the information we need from potential prospects. It is not being used for B2B business. It's more being used for B2C, where we collect a lot of information with CloudPages about all the brands we have. We have an average of 50 brands here in the company. We used to work with partners on the marketing side, however, we never got all the data we wanted and we didn't have the centralized data from our end-users. The aim of this project, from the beginning, was to get all the information and have it as our own, to be collected on our systems and our databases. We're using it for marketing in that way. We're still working with partners, however, now the partners needs to use our solution, instead of using any solution they have.
We use it to communicate with our customers. We look at the reports to see the communication engagement, and then we do sequencing to make sure that there are continuous touchpoints with the client. We are using its latest version.

Basically, in the present company where I'm working right now, I'm into the firewall purely on a security end. There are two kinds of deployment, whether it can be on-premises or on-cloud. We don't need any additional features or additional things to the firewall itself. If the customer is demanding "Okay, we want a specific cloud", they can have that flexibility. They specifically can name features and everything.
