We were using Talend as a data warehouse for SecureSkilled Data related to a pension system. It acted as an SQL repository and was used for data warehousing and data governance, applying constraints on data before loading it into the warehouse.
The effectiveness of the Talend Data Management Platform varies depending on specific use cases. For instance, it integrates customer data from CRM systems, ensuring cleanliness. Additionally, it facilitates the inclusion of accounting information, thereby connecting both datasets seamlessly
The solution is based on Java. It connects to all available data sources, like APIs, Workday, Salesforce, relational database management systems, Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS. It can do big data processing. It also does batch processing and streaming. It hosts APIs, too. We can consume the queuing mechanisms like Kafka or Java Message Queue.
Our company uses the solution to provide data integration services for customers. Most of our implementations are on-premises for large or enterprise-level customers. We have six users with experience in both the local studio and the enterprise versions.

We use Talend for the ETL tool data integration. We're using Talend with Spark to capture large volumes of data from multiple sources and load it to the data lake. We're using version 12. We deploy it in our organization and to our client through AWS as a cloud provider. We have one IT consultant and 180 people in different technologies, particularly in the data integration side. At least 50% of them know Talend, and some of them know Ab Initio or Informatica. We may increase usage, but there are more tools coming up in this space, like Kafka real-time integration. Other data integration capabilities are coming up.

Currently, I am using this solution to develop an integration between two particular systems. It's selecting a TSV file from slate and transferring to banner after you work the data.

I was using the Talend Data Management Platform to ship data from the source to the website, and I was using the Talend administration console to monitor the different data flex and developing new data flex. The new data flex was deployed to our servers. We are also using the same Talend administration for tasks, monitoring the tasks, and for developing the tasks. We have four to five servers running on Talend.
This solution is being used on the client-side. It's a data warehouse solution, basically integrating data between Oracle data sources going into a Teradata Database data warehouse.

Initially, it was data integration for academic data to an EDW on Sybase IQ for reporting purposes. Now it has evolved into data integration for both application and user consumption, loading data into Sybase and MS-SQL data stores. We use Studio on Windows with Servers on Ubuntu.
Talend is an ETL solution. It is great for moving data from source to target and has great error-handling and capturing techniques. Talend is easily becoming more recognized within the ETL space. I am seeing more and more companies branching out from the Oracles of the world since cloud was introduced. Cloud has seemed to even the playing field a bit. If you are looking for something that is stable, cost-effective and has a great ROI, then Talend is a great choice. I have compared ODI to other tools in reviews in the past, but I haven't compared it with Talend.
Talend offers robust data integration in an open and scalable architecture to maximize its value to your business. Simple, graphical tools and wizards get you up and running quickly with native code generation that streamlines development.

We use Talend to help our clients distribute their products. It's a real ETL solution. You download data, transform it, and then you upload it.
