What switch is a good alternative to the Juniper CGS2520?
I'm a Pre-sales and Project Management Engineer at a small consultancy. We are looking for an alternative to the Juniper CGS2520 switch. Any recommendations?

Are you sure the switch brand is Juniper? Could it be Cisco instead?
Your question is not easy to answer because you did not indicate any specifications. It is usually not possible to match 100% someone else's model. If you are looking for a "similar" product, then you should specifically say what is and is not important for you.
- Is it the extended temperature range?
- Is it the vibration specifications?
- Is it the layer-3 features?
- Is it PVST+
- Is it the port types and numbers?
- Is it the alarm relay contacts?
- Is it the Resilient Ethernet Protocol (REP)?
You see, one may suggest an alternative that 80% matches the GCS2520 specifications but it may so happen that you actually need the other 20% that the suggested brand does not support.
Or vice versa: We may say it is impossible to find a 100% match and give up. But all you really cared about was the extended temperature range.

@Menachem D Pritzker @Rony_Sklar @Enrique Lopez see the good point by @Ender Kefoglu as CGS2520 is the model for a Cisco, not Juniper switch.
