However, nlyte has consistently stood out as a leader in DCIM, and despite the availability of other products, we have remained loyal to nlyte for several years. The convenience of an established licensing model, including some perpetual licenses, has been a key factor in our decision to continue with nlyte, particularly due to the cost-effectiveness of only paying for ongoing support rather than license renewals.

The software installation, including its own database, takes about an hour or even less. However, the real challenge arises when configuring the first data center. Creating the layout, adding racks, incorporating IT infrastructure, and modeling power requirements for each system, especially accounting for single or redundant power supplies, can span several weeks for completion. It's a time-intensive process.
