We haven't faced any outages or issues directly related to Route 53. It has been 100% stable for me.

Cost-effective and flexible, it supports features like geolocation routing and failover. However, integration with on-premise infrastructure is challenging due to resolver complexity, and costs can rise with advanced usage. Enhanced logging and simpler management could improve the service, particularly for those less familiar with it.
