A valuable access management system with a user-friendly and straightforward setup
The solution is scalable, and we can scale according to our needs. I rate the scalability a nine out of ten. In our organization, our access to our AWS comes from IAM. We use AWS consoles using our credentials and don't have route access, so each person will log in through our IAM programmatic access, and everyone on our team can work on cloud. Over 10,000 people in our organization utilize the solution.

Adapts workflows with industry-specific flexibility for big companies
We find flexibility to be one of the most valuable features. The solution can be customized to adapt the workflow to our industry, offering considerable flexibility. Additionally, it is considered a good solution for large companies due to its scalability and ability to cater to the needs of many customers. It has also enhanced security and provided significant flexibility for our specifications module.

"The level of customization for data imports and role modeling, because it helps to integrate faster, support easier and let it reuse the organization role structure."
"SailPoint IdentityIQ has more enriched out-of-box connectors than the others."
"The most powerful feature of the solution is its platform-based approach. Unlike other solutions, this tool offers a high level of customization. It is an open and flexible platform, allowing users to tailor it to their needs. This ability to customize and adapt the solution to individual requirements makes the solution stand out as a powerful product."
"The most valuable feature for our customers and for us is the identity data warehouse."

Cons

"Accessing the data needs improvement."
"Some of the security protocols are difficult to understand."
"I would like to see better integration with other business solutions."
"Currently, there is no option to integrate our on-premises Cisco AWS Directory Service, requiring some manual configuration. If AWS Active Directory Service provided additional domain controller functionalities, like other on-premises Active Directory, it would be very helpful."
"I've encountered challenges, particularly with Amazon WorkDocs, which is being deprecated. This has made it necessary to find an alternative document management solution that can handle editing, sharing, and workflow management for documents like Word files and PDFs."
"Can be improved by including on-premises access for services through Identity Access Management."
"Our only complaint is that you cannot integrate your Exchange server. Or, if you are planning to install an Exchange server on your Amazon EC2 instance, then you need to configure Active Directory on EC2 instance. We would like for this limitation to be lifted."
"Currently, there is no option to integrate our on-premises Cisco AWS Directory Service, requiring some manual configuration."
"The product is unable to share suggestions with users."
"I would like for the next release to have a more user-friendly interface."
"I think that the onboarding framework could be improved."
"SailPoint IdentityIQ needs to improve its customization. It should also incorporate some standardized tools for implementation."
"If you compare Saviynt and Okta Workforce Identity versus SailPoint IdentityIQ, SailPoint IdentityIQ needs to improve its UI."
"The solution needs to have more out-of-the-box integration with different applications and solutions."
"SailPoint lacks some features like privileged account management and access management features found in products like Okta."
"SailPoint IdentityIQ has a primitive AI engine."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing is reasonable."
"The pricing depends because with AWS there are two types of directory objects: 30,000 and 500,000. It varies. AWS provides the pricing calculators so we can get an estimate from there as per the company requirement of how many users and objects that we need to create. So we can go to that portal, put in the data, and get the quotation. There are no extra licensing fees. It's all included."
"AWS' pricing is fair, and costs can be cut if you look carefully at when you're using it."
"We pay an annual subscription fee."
"SailPoint is higher in price as compared to Saviynt. The initial cost of SailPoint is very high. There are additional costs to the standard licensing fees."
"The product is expensive. People need to opt for a licensing plan for one year or three years."
"You do pay one price for the license but that price depends on what you choose to include as far as the optional modules go."
"They are expensive."
"We pay an annual licensing cost for SailPoint IdentityIQ."
"Its price is okay. It provides good value for money. It is subscription-based. You can go for a one-year or three-year subscription."
"SailPoint IdentityIQ is highly-priced, and I rate it an eight out of ten for pricing."
"I found the pricing to be relatively high."
