I found the pricing to be relatively high. The pilot project for two hundred and fifty users over an eighteen-month period amounted to nearly two million dollars, which I considered to be a significant investment.
The pricing must be improved. The pricing is a little bit higher than other tools. The solution must provide different prices for different countries. All countries are not equally rich.

I rate the solution a seven on a scale where one is cheap and ten is too expensive. In short, the solution falls under the higher side of pricing. For the solution, our company has secured a perpetual license.
It's all competitive. Initially, the prices look a bit higher, but once it gets into a competitive situation, they meet the market. I'd rate it an eight out of ten in terms of pricing. It tends to be more expensive, but it works.
Licensing costs are high and since we're not an official partner, we're unable to offer any discounts to our customers. Companies often choose an alternative solution that is significantly cheaper and covers 90% of their use cases. I would expect SailPoint to be more price sensitive and have the capability to cater to even small clients and provide them with features necessary in their daily IM use cases. It would expose SailPoint to a larger audience and they'd have a larger implementation market.
In terms of pricing, SailPoint IdentityIQ is affordable. It's not cheap, and it's not expensive, so the solution is in the middle, price-wise. It also didn't have additional costs, even if my company had different teams that took care of auditing and provisioning and projects that used SailPoint IdentityIQ.

The price of IdentityIQ could be lower. There are additional costs when you buy the licenses, and they force the customers to pay for them. Overall, enterprise pricing should be more transparent. It's a yearly license.
The license is expensive and the deployment is expensive. This is due to the fact that the experts in that field who know how to do a proper deployment are very rare, and their cost is really high. Usually, the cost of deploying about 5,000 licenses or 5,000 users, would be the equivalent to the cost of the license, which would be reaching up to around $90,000. Users can sign up for a one-year or three-year contract.

The price of the solution could improve, it is not priced well for smaller businesses to afford. We have one customer that has 2,000 identities and another one with 8,000.

SailPoint is higher in price as compared to Saviynt. The initial cost of SailPoint is very high. There are additional costs to the standard licensing fees.
There are additional modules which are licenced separately that you can get added into the licensing if you want certain additional functionality, I find this a great model to ensure you only pay for what you need.

The licensing fees are on a yearly basis. That's not my part of the job, so I don't know what the costs are. I handle Bio Supply management so I really don't know. There are add-ons. A lot of them have to do with if we want any plug-in's. So if there's any new system that comes to our company that we want to integrate with, they sell their plug-ins as an add-on. It's not out-of-the-box. So integration with Active Directory, that was an add-on. Integration with SAP, that was an add-on. They are their own module. They are not packaged with the product that comes with it. You have to buy them separately. But, everybody needs them.
