Supports seamless authentication for users across multiple organizations and personal portals
The features I use in Cisco Duo include Duo Pushes to confirm my identity to the device, and eventually as MFA security was increased, I actually had to use exchange passcodes. Sometimes, I have to go into the site and get into Cisco Duo to retrieve the passcode, and many of them have been two-factor, where the sites send a passcode that I have to enter into Cisco Duo. It has been more of the latter. I have not seen issues with lagging or crashing on Cisco Duo's end; it was usually on the client end, often because someone set up a bad upgrade or there were connection issues with the Cisco Duo cloud through the administrative site.

Pros

"Cisco Duo is quick to deploy and easy to start."
"My experience with Cisco Duo's strong security authentication system has been good; it performs very well when logging in."
"By deploying Duo, we have virtually eliminated the risk of direct deposit redirection as a result of credentials that have been compromised via phishing."
"The benefit of the features of Cisco Duo is that it secures our environment; nobody can access or join the network without it, and Cisco Duo will recognize and ensure that only people who are allowed in our environment can access our devices."
"Cisco Duo has improved our operational efficiency and reduced costs in areas including authentication, IT support, and security operations."
"The app has greater stability than rival solutions such as Google Authenticator, and Duo Push authentication is a valuable feature."
"It's a great solution for securing access to the applications and network because we can integrate the solution with all types of applications."
"Regarding the stability and reliability of Cisco Duo, it is very good."
"It is a good solution for token identification."
"It stands out as a comprehensive and adaptable solution that excels in both on-premises and cloud-based authentication, offers strong security with multi-layered authentication, and boasts a well-maintained product with reliable performance."
"RSA Authentication Manager Appliance is almost like Plug 'n' Play, so it's an excellent experience."
"Easy setup, deployment, and integration in different infrastructures, including virtual ones."
"RSA Authentication Manager is a robust solution that provides comprehensive protection for both on-premise and cloud-based applications."
"I have found RSA Authentication Manager to be scalable."
"RSA Authentication Manager is the best available solution."
"The product has addressed our remote access security needs while making our work force mobile thus enhancing productivity and customer service initiatives."

Cons

"The only thing I would say that may lead to a more negative experience would be allowing the engineers to help the customers whether it is a twenty-minute call or a four-hour call."
"Cisco Duo is a really good product and I am very happy with it, but sometimes we have to authenticate multiple times, which may be part of our administration."
"Cisco can further enhance the integrations, as they possess exceptional integrations with various providers' products and feature sets."
"Scalability could be better if the price were reduced, as scaling is quite expensive."
"Cisco Duo could be improved, possibly by adding features for the healthcare space. If you're selling something to a healthcare provider, there needs to be consideration for how to launch Cisco Duo with a handheld device that is not native, where you can install the application."
"The new smart license model doesn't always work. It's very complicated."
"Cisco Duo can be improved, but additional features that should be included in the next release are not my area of responsibility."
"The only issue I encountered was related to the expiration of Duo Unix versions below 2.0.3 on February 3rd."
"The price needs to be improved."
"We have encountered issue when trying to expand this particular solution for a large set of users across the country."
"There is room for improvement in the RSA support."
"We found technical support was not very responsive to our requests for assistance."
"We are not planning on using the solution in the future."
"The product's capabilities to protect cloud environments need improvement."
"We are seeing a lot of difficult issues in terms of RSA, especially the cloud-based two-factor authentication process."
"The reporting needs to be improved, and they should be delivered by email."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product’s pricing is reasonable."
"I only need the solution for IT staff, which makes it relatively cheap. If I deployed it for the whole company, it would be costly, so it depends on the number of users. Duo Security is affordable compared to other products in the segment."
"Duo Security is free."
"Price-wise, the solution has been very, very reasonable...Licensing is the last thing I think about Duo Security because it's so easy, and I had no problems with it."
"Our licensing fee is currently on an annual basis."
"Their pricing model is a little bit weird. Currently, there is no price advantage in signing up for yearly contracts. There are no additional costs to the standard licensing costs."
"Cisco's licensing is always a bit complicated to understand, but the price is fair. It could be more expensive than others, but the way they integrate everything, it has a fair price."
"I haven't seen any information on the pricing in four years, so I can't comment on that."
"The pricing is a little bit complicated because sometimes resellers are able to make prices that are too low. Our price, with a discount, is typically not as high as some of our competitors."
"The solution is costly."
"As a new customer, the minimum cost would be four dollars, but you have room for negotiation, potentially bringing it down to as low as three dollars."
