Endpoint security has improved and real-time detection and response reduce false positives
The best features CrowdStrike Falcon offers are endpoint detection and response, cloud-native lightweight agent, AI-powered threat detection, threat hunting, and Falcon Overwatch. The feature I use the most is endpoint detection and response, which you can call EDR. EDR makes the difference in this case because it provides real-time alerts for suspicious activity and full process tree visibility showing what ran, what spawned, and what is happening inside the LAN on the endpoint. It allows for quick investigation of endpoint logins and quick host isolation to stop the spread. Using CrowdStrike Falcon typically leads to faster threat detection, quicker response, and better visibility across the endpoints. This means I can understand, or an administrator can understand the logs and situation, what is happening with the endpoint, and what suspicious behaviors are occurring inside the endpoints. It has reduced false positives and has a lightweight performance impact, resulting in no heavy use or heavy scans of the agent. User productivity is also increased on the endpoint side.

A stable solution with excellent features and a helpful technical support team
We use the solution for cyber fusion centers The product has a lot of strong points compared to other tools. The prices must be reduced. I have been using the solution for one year. I am using the latest version of the solution. I rate the tool’s stability a nine out of ten. In my company,…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"CrowdStrike enables the infrastructure managers to visualize all the events and get information about the network."
"The stability is very good."
"We don't need to maintain onsite servers and deep end user updates with the new vulnerabilities."
"The most valuable feature of CrowdStrike Falcon is its accuracy."
"The solution can scale easily."
"It's very easy to set up."
"The biggest ROI is the operational cost reduction, where automatic updates now take care of themselves and you are looking at saving six to seven months of a person's time, collectively, which would have been spent on just doing this one function alone."
"We compared multiple solutions in EDR and out of them, CrowdStrike gave the most features and value for money."
"The technical support team is helpful."
"The product is stable."

Cons

"Setting up and installing CrowdStrike Falcon is not easy, so an area for improvement is for that process to be simplified."
"We can't do scanning audits or device blocking or application control."
"Whenever there is a feature release (upgrade) where we push to all the endpoints, it causes something to be blocked without us knowing."
"The price is too high."
"I believe nothing can be done to make CrowdStrike Falcon a ten out of ten, as I think it's one of the best solutions in the market. However, rating it a ten overall would imply there's no scope for improvement, but to survive in the market, changes must be made every day."
"The content-filtering features for children could be improved. We have young grandchildren aged 12 and 8. My daughter, their mother, wants to keep them from getting in trouble on the net. She looked at all these other solutions from Google, Microsoft, etc., and she couldn't figure out how to make any of those work. I told her that I bet CrowdStrike could handle this. Sure enough, CrowdStrike can do exactly that. It's the same solution that the Defense Department gets. It works, but it's a little complicated to implement. It could be simpler to set the policies."
"I've found that CrowdStrike's technical support could benefit from increased technical expertise."
"We encounter occasional issues, such as when disabling network access for a host that uses CrowdStrike."
"The prices must be reduced."
"The tool doesn't integrate well with ServiceNow."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing on CrowdStrike is per license. It was about $42 per seat yearly."
"The price is high in comparison to similar brands."
"Our licensing fees were between $50,000 and $60,000 per year, which was pretty expensive for a small business."
"When comparing to Microsoft, CrowdStrike Falcon is more expensive."
"We have a yearly subscription and find the price to be good. I'd give it a rating of four out of five for price, we got a good discount."
"The pricing is good and there are no costs in addition to the standard licensing fees."
"The other administrator and I can log in to check the exact details of what happened, what was running, and what caused the detection. We know exactly what was happening on the end users PC and we can tell if it's something that we actually need or something that's malicious."
"Different components are additional price points. We got the components that were right for us, but other organizations may require more (or less) components to suit their needs."
